“Excellent place to recover from outdoor activities”

Frau Wilhelm was expecting us with the keys and gave us good hiking recommendations. The place is so well decorated and fully equipped. Everything is shiny new and clean. The rooms are large and with a beautiful view to the garden.

“great stay in Bad Schandau”

This small apartment was excellent. The owners are unbelievable. They picked us up at the train station , and delivered us back after our week stay. We borrowed their hiking poles and we were able to do laundry. The place is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Everything is nearby and public transit works well. Hot water in the shower, the kitchen facility is well stocked, and the grocery store is a 5 minute walk. We loved our stay and highly recommend this place as very good value for the price.

Very clean and comfortable, best pillows I have ever slept on. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, though there was no microwave. Automatic lights made coming back after dark much easier. A very pretty garden which guests could make use of. Food shopping was close. The pizzeria in Bad Schandau was also excellent.

This is a gem of an apartment and compared to other places we stayed in Germany it is great value for money (half the cost of an apartment in Nurnberg which was half the size!). The apartments are in a lovely and well restored building where the owners live. The apartment we had was on the first floor and consisted of a well equipped kitchen/dining room, large lounge with balcony, large bedroom (enormous bed) and shower room. It was light and spacious and elegantly furnished but still very comfortable. There are beautiful gardens with sitting out areas to enjoy. Parking is free on the road outside overnight but we left the car in a small parking area just 1 minute away. It was an easy short walk into the town centre or down to the river side. The hosts were very welcoming and informative. Great walking in beautiful forests easily accessible by bus or tram - walking maps available from the tourist information/park centre in town.

“Perfect long weekend”

Property is in central location close to town centre, train station and Lidl/DM. Our flat was clean and light, with well equipped kitchenette and lovely view out of the window. The owner is very friendly and gave us lots of tips of what to do in the area!
