I had a wonderful stay at Ostrauer Hof. The staff was extremely welcoming. The room was absolutely charming, spotless, and fully equipped with everything I needed. The absolute highlight was the breakfast. Highly recommended!

The apartment overall was very nicely furnished. We did encounter a small issue with the bathroom – through the window facing the kitchen, it was possible to see directly into the shower, which felt uncomfortable. We had to cover it with a towel in order to have enough privacy. Additionally, the stairs leading to the room with separate beds are quite narrow and slippery, which could pose a risk of slipping when walking down from the room.

“Comfortable clean stay in traditional buildings”
Friendly guesthouse in lovely village near Bad Schandau, well placed for a stop on the Malerweg trail. Good sized comfortable room. Guesthouse also has its own restaurant.

The location in Ostrau is the best for hiking. Of. all villages, it has the easiest walking access to the national park. Breakfast is great. Also, the family who run the hotel are the most wonderful people ever.

Perfect place to rest, even with kids. Tasty breakfast, comfortable and well equipped appartment, located straight on the trail. Perfect for hikers, and in general as starting point to explore the national park.
