This historic hotel is situated in the town centre of Bad Schandau, along the River Elbe promenade, surrounded by the beautiful hiking terrain of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The Elbhotel Bad Schandau has its own sauna. Dating back to 1876, the hotel features stylish and contemporary rooms with a flat-screen TV, free WiFi and a private bathroom. Many rooms offer a view of the river and mountains. The Elbhotel's restaurant serves delicious regional Saxon specialities, prepared with food sourced from local farmers and also from the hotel's own herb garden on the roof terrace. Elbhotel Bad Schandau is set directly on the Elbe Cycling Trail. The hotel can also arrange a transfer of luggage within 50 km.

“Perfect to relax after winter hike.”
The personal was very friendly, especially the waiters of the restaurant. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.the view towards the Elb was awesome! The wellness area is not very big but it's enough. It has a dry sauna and a humid sauna.

“Enjoyable stay in Bad Schandau”
A nice place to stay - our second visit. Lovely location on river front and easy access from train station via short ferry crossing. Comfortable room and really nice to sit on the terrace for dinner.

“Surprising.”
December, the hotel is cosy, warm. The sauna is nice and well equipped. The beautiful landscape. This is the spa.

Hotel and staff in overall is really good. But We had an unpleasant discussion with one of the server in the restaurant, it was a racial verbal harassment. Hopefully the manager was very helpful to fix the problem and made us comfortable during our stay. However i will not go again into this hotel because of this bad memory
