“Best place I have ever stayed in”

The place has a wide range of activities to offer. The atmosphere is also very pleasant and relaxing, and the breakfast is delicious. Definitely recommended. Will surely come back.

Location close to the 180 bus route gave us easy access to the area without needing a car.

Free bus pass was very useful. The location was great, ideal for walking and visiting Salzburg. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful and spoke English when needed. Restaurant on site and offered vegetarian meals . Salzburg short bus ride close by and was free with tourist tax paid . The building was beautiful and well kept . Spas and saunas were good .

“Pleasant hotel in a peaceful setting”

An extremely pleasant and charming hotel with excellent facilities. We only stayed for one night, but we fondly remember the exceptionally pleasant time we spent here. The hotel's surroundings are very peaceful, with the church bells ringing only during the day. From our room window, we could see the church, cemetery, castle, and surrounding greenery, all at once. The whole hotel has a very calming atmosphere; a longer stay here must be a balm for the soul. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast tasty and varied. There was no problem with storing our luggage after check-out or with quickly bringing soup for lunch so that we could catch our bus. Nearby (although already in Austria) is a beautiful open-air museum full of historical folk architecture, which we definitely recommend visiting.

Facilities were good, we enjoyed the pool table, tennis table, spa and gym and the rooms were clean. The food was good although portions were quite small

Fantastic Hotel in an amazing location at the base of the Bavarian Alps. Totally recommend staying here as it is very close to all the attractions of the region. It is in a quiet location allowing for a comfortable sleep, but not too far from the action!

“Comfortable and quiet, the perfect place for a relaxing night.”

Quiet and comfortable with a very local feel. Food was excellent and the option to spa (included in price with breakfast) was very welcome. Parking was free (motorbike) and they even provided overhead protection from the inclement weather.

NIce peaceful location, suitable as a base camp for exploring nature beauties around. Good half-board dinners, fine breakfast. The pool was nice. Friendly staff.

“Wouldn’t go there again”

The owner of the place I guess was not friendly. First of all, she dint give us information that we have to reserve the bow and arrow 🏹 thing and then when we asked we dint reserve and it’s short notice but we we stayed longer still she dint offer any other day. And many saunas dint work and we couldn’t enjoy it at all as they dint do anything about it.

Beautiful location. Right in the mountains - absolutely stunning views and lovely area to walk around. Felt very safe. Bus to Salzburg was just down the road and ran every half hour. Good breakfast - loved the scrambled eggs! Comfortable lodge-like feel.
