“Rustic Hotel by the lake”

In a quiet, beautiful setting on the Thumsee you'll find this family run Hotel. For the value the breakfast (continental) was good and you could have your pick of coffees. We received a complimentary Prosecco upon arrival, which was a nice gesture.

Amazing location by the lake with the views of the mountains. Staff dont really speak English so had to work on my German but it is a part of adventure. Also, cash only here

The accomodation is located next to a beatiful lake with crystal water and publich beach. Staff was friendly and super helpful. The building itself is a mountain cottage typical for this area. Furniture is still original which supports unique atmosphere of the place. Restaurant provides variety of local dishes which were tasty and for good price and seating on the garden was very pleasant. Breakfast provides sufficient options of sweet and salty meal versions. Overall, we had a great stay.

Very friendly owner, we were welcomed with a glass of prosecco. Really beautiful place with stunning view. The room was nice, very spacious and with a balcony with a beautiful view over a lake . The location was fantastic, it is close to many hiking trails and not far from Eagle's Nest, Konigssee, Hintersee, Ramsau Village, and Salzburg, Austria.

Very beautiful peaceful location. Old traditional house with wooden floor. Our bathroom was on the other side of the corridor but it was very easy 2 steps and it was very clean and had everything. Very nice personal...they even fed us late in the evening in the restorante. Thank you.

Really beautiful place with stunning view. Great walk around the lake and nice stuff. There wasn't much choice for breakfast, but all the food was of good quality. And also the place is dog friendly :) 100% recommend

The location was fantastic. The scenery was spectacular and the accommodation right on the lake. Good parking facility. Breakfast was very good and had great variety. The staff was just generous and so very welcoming. We enjoyed our stay enormously. Many thanks!

A great location! The hotel is located next to the lake, so after breakfast you can directly take a dive. A bus is also stopping about 200 m from the hotel which brings you in about 20 min to the city center. We could not find this bus stop on Google Maps but it is there! The hotel serves great breakfast and you can also have dinner at the hotel. The hotel rooms are really authentic with old furniture, so if you enjoy some history definitely worth a visit.
