“Great stay in a small village with perfect breakfast”

Easy to find in a small village. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly to help with any additional questions. The room had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. We were able to eat dinner on the terrace so we could enjoy the view. The meal was fairly priced and good portions. Breakfast had a lot of options and was delicious. Thinking about coffee? You got it! You would like scrambled eggs? Done. Made fresh. We travelled with our dog and we felt very welcome. Enough trails to walk with your dog. Met our expectations.

An absolute gem! We loved this hotel. Quiet, in the middle of Schwarzwald, delicious dinner (paid) and breakfast (included), friendly staff, beautiful view from our balcony.... Nothing fancy, but still super comfortable. We travel a lot and this was one of the best stays.

We walked up the valley on a very hot evening and got a lovely reception for our first night in Germany. Room was nice, and it had a cool balcony we could sit on and watch the locals pass by. Vegan food was lovely.

Nestled in the Black Forest, this hotel made for a very comfortable base for a long weekend of hiking. Several walks start from the hotel, and others just a short drive away. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner service. Also, a very special mention to the extremely accommodating and friendly staff - they went out of their way to help us- e.g. providing room service upon request, making sure people with dogs were not seated next to each other in the restaurant (this is something that we don't see staff take care of often). Comfortable beds, and a really nice shower and water pressure.

“Super comfortable stay!”

Charming family run hotel with welcoming atmosphere. Room 7 was nicely renovated with shiny new and spotless bathroom. Slept like a baby in the firm, kingsize bed. Dinner was tasty and breakfast offered a good choice of bread, eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit etc. Highly recommended!!

We were recommended to this hotel and they are absolutely right. Lovely rooms, fantastic staff who really make you feel at home, large selection at breakfast, plenty of parking. And the location for hiking and exploring the Black Forest is perfect. We can highly recommend.
