“Hotel with a lovely view that I keep coming back to”

Well, this was the third time I visited this hotel, so my experience is positive. I really love the views over the Ahr valley, from both the restaurant and the rooms (make sure you book a room with "Panoramablick"). Second main reason for coming back is the excellent restaurant. It is not exactly cheap, but worth every pfennig. They serve good local wines too. Staff is as you expect in Germany: friendly and very correct. The surroundings are very nice for hiking too, and if you have some extra time, there is lots of wine tasting to do in the area, and the city of Koblenz is not far away either.

Very comfortable hotel furnished in traditional style with all comforts that it entails - proper full sized wardrobe, spacious room, comfortable bed. Superb restaurant and wonderful views.

“Fine for a short stay”

The hotel was set high in the vineyards with magnifient views. The staff were friendly and attentive. The wine list was extensive. The restaurant was comfortable with good views.

The hotel boasts a breathtaking view over the rolling vineyards — a setting of pure tranquility and quiet charm. Should you not yet have reserved dinner, I warmly suggest you do so. Service is attentive and efficient, while each dish, from the first course to the last, delivers refined flavors with unwavering consistency. The wine selection is excellent, with the rare pleasure of being able to enjoy good ones by the glass, should you prefer not to order a full bottle. My wife is gluten-intolerant, and at both dinner and the sumptuous breakfast she was offered thoughtful alternatives that made her feel fully included despite her dietary needs. Do mention such requirements at the time of booking, in advance. Convenient on-site parking is available. The property is delightfully pet-friendly, with ample grounds for leisurely walks. We are eager to return in the magic of winter.

Beautifully situated hotel with a fantastic restaurant. Access is somewhat challenging as the last part of the journey is a winding, steep and narrow road. However, it's worth it. No cooked breakfast (other than boiled eggs), but there is an ample choice and the quality of food as well as drinks is very good.

Sauna here was really great.

Its location right in the middle of the red wine vineyards! My dog was allowed to sleep in the room and taking him for a walk late at night and early morning too was DELIGHTFUL ! Breakfast was lovely. GREAT terrace with great views for dinner and breakfast. Loved the private balconies as well. Peaceful !

“Superb location and hotel”

Location is amazing just on the Rotweinwanderweg also very close to the West Germany Government bunker. Facilities are also great and not busy, sauna and steam room was just for us. Room had view of the valley.

I only used this hotel as a short stop on my way to Southern Europe, but I am sure that it has a lot more to offer. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony that offers a great view over the valley. Staff is typically German: correct and very friendly. Breakfast is a nice buffet, and the looks of the restaurant and the staff bringing the drinks add some luxury. These are clearly people who love running a hotel. I will choose this hotel again if I ever visit the Eifel region in the future.

“Pricy and dissapointing”

The room was correct, but nothing special. The view is magnificent.
