“Quiet location, self contained unit from which to explore. Very helpful check in staff.”
It’s in a quiet location about a 30 minute drive to the Adenau. The staff were friendly and helped with our late arrival. We went in the off season so it was very low on guests but it worked for us. The kitchen was handy for breakfast. Simple cooking too.

“Different than anywhere we ever stayed before ;-)”
Special, quaint/spooky place in the woods nearby Ahrweiler. Very friendly owner. We had the place to ourselves the first night. Our room was bit small but we were able to use the kitchen downstairs and the Wintergarten to sit in the evenings.

“Nice, we would like to come back.”
Area. The house is surrounded by huge trees. You hear nothing but lots and lots of birds. In the evening fireflies will come and visit you. They say that you can even spot deer, unfortunately we did'nt. Kitchenette was well equipped. We did'nt see the staff/owner much, wich make you experience a certain feeling of additional privacy. Nevertheless the owner was very attentive and helpfull. The rosé wine was very nice 👍👍
