Overview
This hotel is surrounded by beautiful Alpine scenery in the Bavarian spa town of Bad Kohlgrub. Wellnesshotel Waldruh offers free WiFi and a 230 m² spa. Rooms at Wellnesshotel Waldruh are decorated in a cottage style and include satellite TV. Some rooms have a balcony offering panoramic Alpine views, and all apartments have a small kitchenette. Due to staff shortages, our restaurant currently only serves pizza, tarte flambée and various salads on Wednesdays, but within walking distance in about 8 minutes we are at the Guggenberg Alm, which offers a large selection of Bavarian, regional and vegetarian dishes and seasonal dishes. Some restaurants can also be reached in 3-5 minutes by car. Guests can enjoy a wide range of massage treatments at the Wellnesshotel Waldruh. There are several hiking and cross-country skiing trails here in the Ammer Valley. Parking is free at Wellnesshotel Waldruh. It is a 20-minute drive from Ettal Abbey and a 25-minute drive from the winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

“Great!!!”
We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Waldruh and were very pleased with our experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our room was very spacious, super clean, and comfortable. The sauna was a real highlight — a great way to unwind after sightseeing. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety. The hotel is just a short drive from Garmisch, making it easy to explore the area. Would recommend for a relaxing stay.

“Great weekend - will never forget”
Firstly, the Staff, very hospitable, friendly and helpful. The Sauna was amazing, we paid extra for the private sauna and it was very nice. plenty of parking and in a good location to see all kinds of beautiful nature

Very attentive, lovely personnel. Nice location. Close to attractions, hike routes. Very nice sauna. Bath robes, towels, refreshments - provided for free/included in the price. Beer, drinks, sweets available at open bar 24/7, you pay when checkout, thus convenient. Okay breakfast, but not your best experience. Very nice coffee machine.
