“Comfortable short and safe stay in an hostel-like hotel”
Very close to the theatre which is why I was there. The reception lady was very kind even though she can’t speak English and I can’t speak German, but one night stay has no problem. Bed is comfortable. They prepared a fan in the room which is helpful in hot weather. People said it’s a bit old. I agree, but doesn’t bother me and quite nice. Check in and out is easy.

My stay was short-notice. I was warmly welcomed by the owner who then took care of payment and creating my guest card, was very polite and accomodating to my needs. The interieur is to be expected from a older German townhouse, my room was small but very comfortable. I will definitely come again to stay at Hotel Humboldt.
