Overview
This 4-star-superior hotel is located in the spa town of Bad Herrenalb, with beautiful views of the Black Forest. The panoramic spa includes an indoor swimming pool, various saunas and a spa tub. We couldn’t use the sauna on the day of checkout anymore because they hadn’t turned it on yet. Went to the reception and asked them to turn it on so we could still go after breakfast but nothing happened. Very disappointing given we only stayed one night over the weekend and traveled far

The room on the 2nd floor with balcony with nice view on the valley was just superb and relaxing. The spa was well maintained and very clean and comfortable. People on reception were very helpful and smiling. Nice breakfast.

We stayed in a newly furnished room and it was very nice. The view was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The mattresses were very comfortable and the room was clean.

“Ideal for a relaxing getaway”
A relaxing and serene hotel, conveniently situated on the edge of the Black Forest (what a view!). The rooms are pleasant, contemporary, and spotless. Breakfast was offering a diverse selection. Pool and sauna rooms are spacious and well-maintained, the latter being slightly compact. The service provided was welcoming and fitting

“Great views, poor spa offer (despite the rather rich offer)”
The location is amazing yet a tad far away from town centre. It was super difficult to get to the front door of the hotel -- a clearer signage would be more than welcome.
