Overview
Built in 1900, this third-generation family-run hotel is situated in Bad Herrenalb, on a hillside with views of the town and Falkenstein rock. Hotel Fidelitas features a large garden with terrace. A lounge, free WiFi and free parking are available on site. All rooms at the hotel include a flat-screen TV with a private bathroom and shower, and can be reached by lift. Some rooms have a balcony. A rich breakfast buffet with specialities from regional producers is offered in the breakfast room each morning. In the lobby, we offer hot and cold drinks. The wellness thermal baths and historical monastery are only a short walk away. Hotel Fidelitas is also an ideal starting point for numerous hiking trails. Guests receive a free KONUS ticket, allowing free use of buses and trains in the Black Forest and Karlsruhe.

“Peaceful well-run hotel in glorious surroundings”
A true family-run hotel located a few minutes' uphill walk from the centre of the small town. From the old photos on the walls to the well-tended colourful garden, Fidelitas is a delight. Most of all, the kind attention of Frau Lacher, who goes beyond the normal to please her guests. The home-made jams that feature in a generous breakfast buffet are excellent. We used to stay in hotels like this when I was young - it is good to know that traditional standards can still be found. The view from the room was lovely, as was the birdsong every morning and evening. A superb base for the many beautiful walking trails in the area.

A beautiful hotel in a quiet location, there is also a parking lot which makes it even more attractive. The entire facility is perfectly clean, the room was spacious and clean with everything necessary for a nice stay. The breakfast is fresh and varied, the hosts are very kind... of course I will come back to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the cute town of Bad Herrenalb. Warm recommendation

Friendly host, very clean and pretty hotel with a soul! In the room - good mattresses on the beds, a lot of space, nice bathroom. Picturesque view from some windows! Checkout in early time was also comfortable.

“Very welcoming and cosy authentic home in the forest and still centrally located”
I had an amazing stay at guesthouse Fidelitas. The whole building was tastefully decorated and cosy, the room was clean and comfortable and also decorated with respect for the history of the building. The breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. Staff was very thoughtful and helpful, they make you feel welcome and taken care of. Location was excellent, only a short walk away from the city center and bus/train station. Enough parking space right outside the hotel if you travel by car.

“Phenomenal stay in a lovely place”
Pension Fidelitas exceeded my expectations in every way. Frau Lacher was so friendly and helpful from the moment of check-in, and so attentive each morning, as well as when I saw her in the evenings. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms were the cleanest hotel rooms I have every stayed in. I hope to visit the Schwarzwald again and would absolutely stay here.

I wanted to stay an extra 5 days, because. Breakfast amazing. Room clean, quiet , really nice people. Charming. Great balcony. Great views. Even has 3 English TV channels plus. Friendly helpful staff. Great price. Best value in Germany in my month Traveling in Germany. Owner gave me hiking suggestions. And the free bus-tram ticket allows one to go everywhere free!
