“Walking Trip to the Harz”

This was one of my favorite properties until 2023 when there appeared to be a management change. I went elsewhere in 2025. I am glad to say the hotel seems to have regained its class and customer oriented service

I stayed here before, and it is always good. Restaurant is very naice and breakfast is very good.

Very high quality décor and furnishings in public areas and especially welcoming reception on arrival including staff. Dining room and breakfast room are separate which is practical and good for guests with different decor. Swimming pool and sauna spacious, clean and welcoming. Parking generous and payable. Hotel has a large parking space. The restaurant is serving excellent food and the staff is very experienced. Room was spacious and the bathroom was modern with all necessary equipment.

Centrally located for Bad Harzburg horse racing track and walking in the Harz National Park. The staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel has excellent facilities for parking and also a fitness centre and pool. The rooms are of a good size and well maintained. There is also an Annex with single sized rooms

It is a really clean nice place right in the center of Bad Harzburg, 10 min away from the train station and close to nice restaurants. It gives a really good breakfast.
