Overview
This welcoming guesthouse is situated by a forest on a peaceful south-facing slope, surrounded by the wonderful landscape of the Upper Harz region. The family-run Pension Talblick Bad Grund offers tastefully furnished, cheerful double and single rooms, some of which include a large balcony. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of Bad Grund and the Harz Forest. All rooms have a seating area, a TV and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Very welcoming hosts, cosy beds and great view from the room. I loved the possibility of EV charging for a good price (0.48€/kWh). Coffee machine was available in the communal area.

The Pension was located high up in the valley with gorgeous views from my room. The host put himself out to bring me up from the valley floor - my mobility I'd impaired and I was warn out! The house was delightful and very welcoming, despite tge lateness of my arrival. And the room was so quiet - I was quickly deep asleep. The owner even went out of his way to return me to the railhead in the morning. Breakfast, rolls, meat, and coffee was lovely and contributed to my overall sense of calmness. Fantastic!

“Bright, cozy and wonderful view”
A beautiful historical house located on a hill, from where there is a short walk through the forest to the center of the town. The rooms are very bright, with a wonderful view of the mountains. Very friendly hosts.
