Overview
Quietly sitting at the foot of Südhang Mountain, this traditional guest house is surrounded by the scenic woodlands of the western Harz region. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. A satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities and an elegant, country-style interior is featured in all rooms and apartments at the Pension Rheingold Garni. All offer beautiful views of the surrounding valley. Guests can start their day with breakfast each morning in the breakfast room. Barbecue facilities can be enjoyed in the spacious, green garden in good weather. The Bad Grund Health Centre is a 5-minute walk away. The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking, biking and skiing in winter. Ski equipment storage is available at the Rheingold Garni. There are also 2 on-site garages for motorbikes.

“A great place to stay as a biker.”
I had a great stay, a very biker friendly place even had a garage avaliable to overnight the bike which was a welcome bonus. In the morning I was greeted with a great breakfast and room was spotless and perfect for the needs of my trip. Highly reccomended

Nice guest house in a beautiful area, helpful hosts although very little English. I had the small apartment which was excellent I am a repeat customer, so that should speak for itself. Also allowed me use of their garage to secure my motorcycle

Spent 3 nights there on a riding trip. The room, a single, was immaculate. Will definitely stay again next time. 10/10 from me!

“Excellent Apartment and charming host”
Ursula was very thoughtful and caring as a host. She offered garage parking for our motrbikes, cleaning gear for out helmets and found a coffee machine for me. The apartment was perfect for us with a small but well equipped kitchen, an excellent shower and super comfy beds and a nice sitting area.
