Overview
This cosy family-run guesthouse is located in the health resort of Bad Grund in the Harz region. Pension Hamburg stands on a slope surrounded by scenic forests. Enjoying a peaceful location on a road without through-traffic, Pension Hamburg lies just a short walk from the town centre. The rooms offer cable TV and a wonderful view of the mountains. All rooms offer a private bathroom mostly located within the room, except for 2 rooms where guests are given their own key and have private access to a room across the hallway. The hotel lounge has a TV, a barbecue terrace and a large sunny balcony. The centre of Bad Grund and the spa park lie just a short walk away. Many wonderful hiking paths and cross-country ski trails take you to attractive destinations such as the stalactite caves in IIberg, the arboretum and the Märchenwald (enchanted forest).

We really liked this host, he was a very hospitable 😊. It has a stunning view, breathtaking 🤩. The hotel is on the mountainside, it's incredibly beautiful⛰️. The rooms were very clean, which created additional comfort. We had a great rest after a long drive, it was what we needed. Plus, this place has historical significance, which adds to its special charm of ✨! #travels #rest #mountains #story #beauty

Friendly welcome, great features like the communal beer fridge went down a treat (soft drinks also) the location was excellent for our trip north and the breakfast was very good. Would definitely return and visit the area more in the future.

“I used this as a stop over before going Hiking. I'm glad I did, very clean and very comfortable.”
Breakfast was a hit! Breakfast room was spacious and plenty of choices to choose from. I like this place this so much, looking forward to staying here again.

We felt like home from the beginning! The owner gave us a warm welcome, place for our motorbike in private garage, good advices for leisure!
