The fact that there is no evening meals available for Guest , on Moday , Tuesday , and Wednesday, BUT FOOD available , for other people NOT at the hotel ..Mmmm

“Cosy, hospitable place to stay, in beautiful surroundings”
The hotel is located next to the train station. Opposite the hotel you can walk straight into the forest. The room was tidy. Restaurant and bar were nicely decorated and well cared for, service very kind. The mini-train that runs through the dining room above your head is a funny detail. Delicious vegetarian meal on the menu. When the weather is warm, you can sit outside on the terrace. Free parking. Visit recommendation: Burg Steinfurt, the Steinfurter Bagno forest park and Bentheim Castle.

“Great stop over in an interesting old building, super friendly staff and fantastic location. Highly recommended.”
Fantastic place, really helpful staff and just ideal as a stop over as it’s close to the motorway. We arrived a little late but the restaurant stayed open for us and they could not have been more helpful. Really quiet, despite the odd train shuffling gently past. Superb breakfast also.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Interesting conversion of a railway station. We stayed one night while cycle touring and the hotel had an excellent locked garage to store the bikes in.

“Great location, just off the motorway that feels a thousand miles away from it!”
The hotel is a wonderful conversion of an old railway station. The bar/resturant area is beautifully decorated with railway themed stained glass. The food in the evening was delicious (though the menu was a little limited) and they were able to get us a table even though we arrived late (just before last orders due to traffic on the autobahn). Breakfast in the morning was good as well and we felt set up for the day. The hotel is close to woodland and the park that surrounds the spar and we had a pleasant walk the next morning before getting back into our car. We chose the hotel because it is very convenient for the autobahn when traveling from Germany into the Netherlands and we strongly recommend it on that basis.

“a nice place for a family get together”
Breakfast is great! the bar is a nice place, and all staff is very welcoming and friendly. They arranged a special table for us in the restaurant, and they gave us rooms nearby so we could leave the baby in the room while having dinner

“Great overnight stop over, just a few minutes off A30 on German/Dutch border area.”
This is a great location for an overnight stop - I was going from Travemunde to Hoek Van Holland between ferries. Very nice breakfast in the morning and overall good value for money.
