"Am Berghang" is a hotel for private and business travelers. There is a fast and stable WiFi connection in all areas of the hotel. The hotel has three room categories. These differ in size and equipment. In the morning, a rich breakfast buffet is served in the modern and cozy breakfast room until 10:00 a.m. This is the best way to strengthen yourself for the day. Lactose- and gluten-free food is always taken into account. Cyclists have the opportunity to store their bikes dry and safe. There are enough charging stations for e-bikes. The town center of Bad Bentheim is 1100m away. Here you will find good restaurants and cafes, which are within walking distance. The nearby A30 and A31 motorways allow various day trips and you can even cross the border into the Netherlands (13 km). The city of Bad Bentheim charges a tourist tax of 1.80 euros p. adult/ day. This is not included in the room rate. Business travelers are exempt with proof.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Bed/mattress were really good. Tasty, varied breakfast. Ample free parking spaces in front of the hotel Clean interior pool

“A stop-over on a road trip to Belgium, and it served it's purpose admirably.”
Clean and spacious. The reception area was a bit bland, but the room was nice and the breakfast area was fantastic, with a huge, well-assorted buffet. Parking right outside the front door. Fridge in the room.

“Disappointing: Bad Bentheim was deserted and we had bad weather!”
Overall, everything was excellent, apart from the 2 items mentioned under. We would have given the hotel a "9"" were it not for those 2 points.
