Location and building were great, bed was super comfortable. Building was cold but staff had heated my room so it was cosy. Great views over the Rhine. Generous breakfast

Nice looking old building, a part of the city wall.

I first booked two nights and then extended my stay to 4 nights. Kranenturm hotel upgraded my room to a double room on the city side. This was quiet and peaceful and had a lovely view of the castle. Excellent breakfast and real value for money. Beautiful setting.

It's amazing. The city is rich in history and the hotel is like to be inside of the history. The architecture is the same, and very comfortable and the workers are very gentle. I strongly recommend.

The location in town centre within walking distance of restaurants / bars and the train station. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Tang greeted us on arrival and assisted us with luggage. Check in and check out was easy and quick. The building is beautiful and historic. Tang was on hand for all our needs. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

“Stayed in hotel in ancient city wall tower”

The hotel is located in one of the guard towers of the ancient city wall. You can walk along the wall with river view. Restairant a minute away. Friendly host was as helpful and obliging as could be. Thanks.

A great hotel which we will remember fondly. A more authentic hotel across the road from the Rhine. Had lots of quirky additions in the room which probably were there when it was first built? 81 steps to the top room but worth the view. The manager(?) helped carry our bags up. Don't expect all new but more back in time. Would stay there again. Great breakfast selection.

The hotel is located right next to a busy mainline railway, so it is quite noisy - good for people with hearing impairment or who bring earplugs. The hotel itself is a bit run down but it was fine for the couple if nights that I was there and it is a really interesting historical building. directly on the old town wall.
