“I was surprised that the previous reviews were so good.”
Fitted bed sheets not comfortable. Very little in terms of coffee and tea making items provided. The kettle had scale. There was one sachet of sugar and no tea or coffee. It looked like they forgot to replace what was used. I didn’t bother to ask for anything. A smell in the bathroom. Shower and toilet not clean enough.

Our hosts were kind, helpful and welcoming. The outside porch provided a communal place to meet and socialize with other travellers. Easy access to highway and to local restaurants, wine shops and banks.

Everything was perfect , great location, great spacious room with small outdoor area. Kettle and tea making facilities and Bacharach Is stunning. Highly recommend.

“A perfect hide-out for a short stay along the Rhine”
The hotel is located just outside the centre of Bacharach, within walking distance but outside the busy areas. So ideal! The hotel itself is pleasant, with a homely layout and comfortable rooms. Reception by the owner was most friendly. The breakfast was good.

Very friendly couple runs the place. Breakfast is really good. Location is great. House looks cool. They have a nice fridge with drinks and snacks.

The host couple were wonderful -- friendly, helpful and generous. Our room was bright, spacious and clean. Breakfast included everything we wanted. We enjoyed our stay very much. Easy, safe parking was also appreciated.
