Very nice staff, everything clean and outside area is spacious. Overal we had a good stay.

Nice cosy common areas, hot showers, and all staff and volunteers were amazing, friendly and helpful. Free shuttle at 11am to the beach club with access to the lagoon was also very nice and relaxing. Just bring snacks or a pack lunch because the return is at around 4pm and there aren't many food options once you're there.

Staff was absolutely amazing, seating areas were beautiful, would definitely stay again. Slept in a tent was nice and cool at night. 10/10

At check-in hey charge you extra taxes that are mentioned nowhere. They say those are local taxes but they should mention before arrival that there will be additional costs

Comfortable clean beds, great kitchen, open and sparse gardens. Great value for money.

Staff was very friendly. The coom was clean and comfortable and located only a few minutes to the square and 10 minutes from the lagoon. You also have access to another camping area which they call a beach club at the lagoon, which was located 14km away.

“Lovely place in great town”

wonderful staff, breakfast included from 8am to 10am. access to their beachside location included - was beautiful spot! parking included but street parking very safe. people were very quiet and respectful. our private room had A/C and fan, large room

The staff are very friendly and efficient. The place is very near to the centre. The jungle atmosphere and gardens are so refreshing

“Beautiful garden hostel”

Dana was super sweet, kind, and helpful. She helped me arrange a tour on the lagoon, she helped me find good places to eat, and she let me keep my stuff in the room past check-out hours. Muchas gracias Dana! This hostel also has another property right on the banks of the lagoon, it's a 10 minute drive north from Bacalar town, there is a little restaurant and bar and you can actually stay there. I spent the whole afternoon there swimming, sunbathing and drinking cervezas! :-) It was great

Location and staff. Very clean the rooms and comfortable. The area is in a jungle and it was super cozy.

“Pleasant quiet hostel - visit the lake!”

Short walk from ado bus stop. The hostel has a sister hostel on the lake which they have a free shuttle for each day - this was a highlight. Amazing to spend the day on lake bacalar in a secluded spot. The hostel is pretty in nature and quirky and it was nice to have the free breakfast. Quiet otherwise.
