Nice hotel with excellent location, balcony was a nice thing to have, although we did get locked out on it! (Take the room key with you) Beach club was very good, although could only use it one day per booking, we could take a kayak out for a couple of hours, which was enough to go down to the pirates canal. This saves a huge amount of money compared to going to a beach club in town. It is a bit of a trek (about 1km) but is certainly walkable. Location is very central so good for walking into town (you’re there in 3 minutes) without having all the noise

“Great stay for Bacalar!”
Great location, very near to the lagoon and good restaurants. The breakfast was nice - you could choose between eggs (any way) or pancakes, plus a fruit plate and tea/coffee! We also had a huge balcony with a hammock which was great. You can also take out kayaks for two hours which was included in our booking - great perk! Thanks for a great stay in Bacalar.

“Nice place in good location”
Excellent breakfast included in attached restaurant. Nice balcony with hammock, facing a side street, not much traffic. Friendly staff. Clean water dispenser at front desk, staffed unless gate locked at night. Premises well maintained. Pool clean, though not heated was in partly sunny location. Short walk to lake , good bakery, restaurants and town centre. Good shower with hot water. Bed quite comfortable. Extra blanket supplied. Desk and chair in room. AC and fan worked well.

“Good location, but not worth the price”
The hotel has a good location, and the breakfast was fine for a short stay. The shower itself had warm water and strong water pressure, which we appreciated.

“We enjoyed our stay”
The food in the restaurant was good. However, there was loud music videos playing. The coffee was not drinkable. Location was great, room very nice but without inside table and chairs.

“Relaxing and confortable!”
Quiet and relaxing place. Well equipped and spacious room. Big and nice balcony and, nice pool. Location just 2 blocks front town's centre and the "lake".

Staff was really nice. The rooms downstairs are very moldy because the climate is Just very humid. However, It was so moldy, that we couldn't sleep there with our kids. They offered us a new room immediately. It was upstairs, had better ventilation and the mold is just in the bathroom. The hotel ammenities are nice, the pool is clean, they offer free drinking water and the attached restaurant is yummy. The Beach club is basically just a simple access to the lagoon, but very beautiful. It's close to the center which is very lovely in the evenings. With kids it's also great during the day because the central square has a lot of playgrounds where the small one can play.

“We fondly remember this accommodation and nearby dining.”
We appreciate the good location of the hotel, the grooming, the comfortable sleeping and the cleanliness. Front desk service diligent and helped us connect to a different SSID as the standard wifi offered was very weak. We didn't take advantage of the inviting swimming pool as it often rained heavily. The biggest advantage was the excellent "Mr Taco" restaurant opposite.
