“Nice stay”

Great location and nice owner, albeit didn't really see him much. But responsive to whatsapp and help3d me overcome some logitical challenges when I had an important zoom meeting! Wifi excellent (the whole town was struck with bad weather and power outages but the wifi remained good enough to host audio for 2h). Simple room but has all youd need - comfy bed, towels, soap, aircon etc. Water a nice touch.

The location was perfect, literally minutes to the centre and not noisy at all. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve had and I slept really well. I reported the fan broken and was fixed by the time I came back.nice fridge in room. Run by local family.

Very big room, good new air conditioning and fan that do not made a noice, Good shower with hot water Two big comfortable beds. Super close to the center. The rooms are located inside a courtyard so there’s no noice but birds. Only small things: small lamp next to the bed and few hangers are missing but over all a great experience for very affordable price.

Good Location in the center of bacalar. The bed is comfi and it was quiet at night so I slept very good. The room was spacious and clean.

Pleasant stay in a good central location. Spacious room with clean and comfortable bed. A short 20min walk from ATM bus station or 4min taxi (about 40peso). And even closer (3min walk) to Marlin Espadas pickup point if you’re heading to Belize. AC was a treat in the heat.

- perfect location: quiet spot right next to the Centro square and many great places to eat and drink - big room with two big beds - super clean and has hot water in shower - TV, aircon, and fridge in room are great - staff are really lovely and helpful. they have been very patient with our terrible Spanish - we loved it so much we ended up extending our stay

“Great Value for Money!”

Really good value for money, one of the cheapest on booking .com that is central. The location is great, right in the centre with restaurants and shops outside, with a 5 minute walk to the lagoon where you can get boats, swim etc. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It's only a small hotel and even though it's central it's back off the main road a little so nice and quiet. Good WiFi and TV with streaming services. There's a water boiler and cups/spoons/instant coffee/sugar/milk in a small communal area at the bottom of stairs. Nice to sit there in the morning and have a coffee. With nice plants and decorations around. Our kids particularly liked the coconut sculptures!

“clean and airco room”

it had nice airco and could be very cold which is nice. I did NOT see any cockroaches and it was very clean, unlike some other reviews. they improved! No bugs. no mosquitoes.

+ cheap + cleaning Lady is supportive (while host itself not that much) - contacted host in advance via Booking and never got a reply - shower has far to less power Summary: for those travelling on small Budget it is a good value, but I would not go there again
