“Amazing owner”

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Our room had a hammock, which was great :)

We loved our stay in Mi Cuartito in Bacalar and we wish we could have stayed longer! The hosts were really welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was nice and well decorated. It's in a quiet area, only a short walk to the local public pier and not too far from the centre of Bacalar. We arranged to hire kayaks from the owners, who took us to the pier in their lovely beetle with the kayaks on top, and then we spent a lovely day in the blue waters of the lake. The next day we hired bicycles and cycled down to Cenote Azul. It was all so amazing.

I don't think that breakfast was included. If it was meant to be, I did not realize it. However, I had the ability to make coffee in the morn which is important to my enjoyment of a place. The outside kitchen that we were able to use was a nice bonus. The room is inexpensive, and therefore is really meant for travelers who are accustomed to traveling on the cheap. It was a great value. it reminded me a bit of camping as the outside space made up a great portion of the shared space. Each room even had it's own assigned bathroom in the bathroom area.

I loved the kindness and flexibility of the owners. I love to promote these type of stays, they are more personals with the human touch that we all need.

The owners are really nice. They were really helpful, took the kayaks to the waterfront for us and were very flexible in terms of checkout. The coffee corner around the corner is really nice!

Close to the nature. Nice flowers in the garden. Easy walk to the beach and city center.

“Cozy little family home”

A wonderful family having two rooms for rent. Rooms have a private entrance, are cozy and comfortable. I love to stay in places like this and especially for the price we paid this place is wonderful. There's also a really good cafe just a few houses down.

It is a little oasis but unfortunately too messy and noisy for my liking. Close to the lake though.

We really enjoyed our stay there! The owners are super nice, they even have 2 kayaks which we could borrow. Location is pretty close to the center as well. Super tranquilo place, loved it :)

spacious and charming room with two double comfortable beds. traveling with my mum, we felt sleeping like queens :) there is space in the garden to picnic. the private bathroom although outside the room is clean and nice. walking distance to a public swimming dock; beautiful spot to observe the sunrise ( the location isn’t totally central, so you better choose the cuartito if you enjoy walking around) Extremely welcoming and kind hosts!

Really nice couple, lots of space and very supportive with early check in and late check out

it was very nice accomadation. The rom was clean and comfortable, room and area around the house was nice local decorated. The hosts offered to us an umbrella beacouse the dai was rainy. What is big plus - we could use kayaks - for free! The hosts were very nice and helpfull, area was queiet - if you do not count animals - but Bacalar is a village and it has additional valeu for us. We recoomend this house - we spent there 2 nights :)

Super friendly staff. Good location, and good equipment.
