“Nice stay in a good location”

The staff was super friendly. It felt like a home stay. The location was perfect. A short walk to the lake or in to town. Nice pool and private parking was a big plus.

The Pool and dogs

The room is excellent value for money (2 comfortable beds, nice bedsheets, soap and shampoo provided). What really made a diffrence is the garden with the pool, jacuzzi, palm trees and swining chairs - and the lovely staff.

Owners re really nice and helpful, overall the stay was good, room was spacious and had everything what someone needed for few days of stay.

“Family vibe and great location”

It feels very safe with the main doors always being locked and you have the parking inside the property. The pool is very nice and clean and the area arround the pool full of different tropical trees and plants. There is a shared refrigirator that is very handy, you can borrow the bikes and they prepare coffee for you every morning if you wish. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Room is basic, location is great.

The person at the reception spoke English, whereas noone else in the town spoke English. That's a great start! Also, he made sure to help me with my plans, he happily let me borrow a bike twice, along with the chain. He allowed me to stay in the pool, waiting for my taxi, to get me back home. And i left the most important for last. Despite the curfew they have about not being open to public in the night hours, between 12 and 7am in the morning, he happily allowed me to get in and out, so i could catch my pre-booked activities (boat tour, SUP etc.).

“Good cheap pet friendly hotel in Bacalar”

Room was a good size. I had lots of luggage so that was helpful. I was travelling with two pets and they didn't charge any pet fee which is really nice. Good location, a little out of the main centre so it's quiet.

Nice location, offices with kayak short walk down the street. Nice swimming pool area. We had no water when we arrived but it was fixed right away and in the end the water is hot with good pressure :) Very nice and helpful host.

Everything was great—friendly staff, nice facilities, a beautiful pool, indoor parking, pet-friendly, and very quiet. We really loved our stay! The only thing that could be communicated more clearly is that the hotel closes its doors at midnight. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s definitely important information for other guests to know in advance.

The location was great, we walked most places we wanted to go... the lake, main square, cafes bars etc. The inner courtyard and pool were an oasis from the hustle and bustle. Rafael was a charming and friendly host and assisted in parking guest vehicles safe behind the secure gates. Best shower pressure we've had in Mexico!
