Love this hostel

“Rustic”

No signage but google maps is accurate. Nice owner. Lovely old Siamese cat. Steel bunks with power nearby. Functional outdoor kitchen.

Amazing hostel run by lovely family

The place is in a beautiful, nature-filled village, but it’s not quiet—dogs bark all night and roosters start early, making it hard to sleep. The rooms don’t match the photos, that was a bit disappointing. The garden, however, was nice.

It's basically a roof over your head, no privacy, no commodities. The room and the bathroom were smelly. Far away from the center through a muddy road

Great value, comfortable bed and nice small place where you meet everyone else staying there. Peaceful surroundings, dorm stays relatively cool so doesn't need aircon, fan is fine. Alejandra was a nice, friendly host and if you like animals she has a whole menagerie.

Beds were comfy, and the room is well-equipped for humid, hot nights. It was overall clean. The common areas are simple but good enough to chill. The host and volunteers were very friendly, too!

One of the best hostels in Bacalar. It is walkable from the bus station and all facilities are available. The host is very friendly and helpful with any information and booking activities. It is surrounded by nature and pets. It's a great place to stay and feel at home with the family that owns this place.
