Rachel was simply the best host! She made us feel very comfortable since the first moment and explained about Bacalar main attractions. She also prepared us an early/packed breakfast for the last day since we were leaving quite early, and helped us with taxi booking. The room was simple but nice, just what we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay here for so many reasons: I slept like a log, breakfast with eggs al gusto, toast, jam, coffee and fruit was delightful, so impressed with the water container for water bottle refills and the bed and room were soooo comfortable. La laguna is amazing. On top of that, the hotel has the most charming hostess Rachel, who was welcoming and helpful with some great suggestions and a really useful map. Thank you for pointing out the toucanitos in the garden. That was special! Thanks Rachel!

“Bacalar 2 night stay”

A warm welcome from the host Miguel after a long train journey from Palenque. Normal check-in time ends at 10pm but I was able to arrange a late check-in. The room was very comfortable and I enjoyed a nice breakfast each morning. Location is good, just a short walk from the town centre.

Staff were so welcoming and helpful, even taking the time to talk us through a map of the local area. They also booked taxis for us when required. Room was basic but spotless and had everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely too- eggs made to order.

Raquele gave me tips for bacalar und booked a stand up paddel Tour at sunrise for me. Nice place to stay, good breakfast, quiet road. Only 10 minutes walk towards the centre.

The kindness and information from Raquel was amazing. She explained us the region and give us some tips to make the best of our time in Bacalar. The breakfast was hummy (fruits / eggs / bread / cornflakes/ coffee or tea). The room was also clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay !

It was a very nice stay with amazing staff as Rachel who helped me to book my boat tour and to help me with the kitchen. It has a good breakfast and they can give you a towel for the beach.

Very Nice and rustic hotel just outside of the center. The staf is very helpfull. Breakfast can be taken in the garden. Loved it!!

The breakfast was delicious (scrambled eggs, toast, peanut butter, jam, te, coffee, fresh fruits) and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The location is about 10 min walk from the city center. The hotel has even filteted water for free.
