We really loved this apartment. Everything was perfect. The host was so friendly and helpful. The way that the property has been set up is fantastic - very comfortable and spacious, with a dining area inside and out, the kitchen was so clean and well equipped. We loved the terrace area, especially the swinging seat! Although there is another apartment next door your outdoor space is your own and is also private. The apartment was in a great location, 2 minutes walk to the lake and close to a bakery and small store. The town centre is less than 15 minutes away. It was a lovely quiet part of the town and we just enjoyed relaxing.

“Nice apartment close to the lagoon”

The host was great, kind and willing to support and give tips on bacalar. The position is in the south of the city and not exactly in the city centre, this was for me a plus because it was very close to the public access to the lagoon and very quiet, allowing still to walk to the city centre. The apartment was relatively big and as in the description/fotos.

Claudia, the host was lovely and obviously enjoys talking to people. We really enjoyed hearing about Mexico and getting her advice on what to do around the town. She takes in stray cats so a donation to that is a worthwhile cause (tip jar in kitchen). The place was clean with a relaxing verandah and garden and had everything you need in a self contained apartment including great coffee. It is simple but comfortable.

Beautiful, cosy little house in a great location near to the centre. Very clean, excellent facilities and thoughtful touches. It was nice to have a Christmas tree and lights on the front porch! Claudia was really lovely and super helpful too.

“Lovely little home in Bacalar”

The apartment was lovely and clean. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook basic breakfast etc. it was nice that cooking oil was also provided. The location is honestly such an easy and safe walk from Centro. We walk back in the dark and although quiet, it felt very safe. Host was so lovely, helped us with recommendations. The bathroom was nice and great hot water with a hairdryer. Air con in bedroom and big fan in living room.

We had a fantastic stay here. The apartment was really well equipped with all we needed. Our host Claudia was also amazing, helping us to book tours and a taxi to the bus station and was lighting fast at responding to messages. Bacalar is a beautiful place perfect to relax and the apartment was well located a short walk into town to make the most of it! We also appreciated the Christmas tree and lights.

The host is friendly and takes good care of the accommodation. She informed us of situations such as power outages and bad weather. There was a time when there was a lack of gas for cooking, and she quickly solved the problem. It's a clean and convenient accommodation. It's a little far from the cent er, but I enjoyed the walk.

A brilliant place. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The host was so kind and friendly and able to give lots of advice on activities, booking these for us, arranging laundry. Nice water was also provided. Highly recommended

What I like most about Casa Momo is the fact that it is a family business. Claudia and her mom, Claudia, were very kind and generous. Communication was great from day 1 and they provided very good tips in Bacalar. The place was nice and clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the AC in the room makes a significant difference at night. I would recommend it 100%.
