“Nice place to stay in Bacalar”
The place is comfortable, clean, nice atmosphere, functional, conveniently located near the main road (good for transport options and cheap eats), good mattresses, hammocks in the rooms, free cold drinking water, kitchen, hot (electric) shower. Romina, the host, is very nice and helpful.

“Cute place that feels like home”
It was such a cute house with a lot of nice details to make you feel at home. I loved my stay here. The room is airconditioned so that realllllyyy helps with the heat. It is very close to the busstation, but a little far from the centre and lake (15 min walk so still fine). It's very quiet and there is a nice outside seating area where a cute cat is lounging most of the time. You can cook your own food so thats very handy.

You stay in a building in the back of a garden of a Mexican family, so it practically feels like a 'homestay', but with all your own privacy. It was quiet and comfortable and it exceeded my expectations. It had an authentic quality to it that I much appreciated.
