We received a very warm welcome, and check-in was flexible. The kitchen is well equipped and very clean, as is the entire property. Our room was spacious, and the shower had warm water. Drinking water is provided in the kitchen, and the WiFi is very fast. The neighborhood was the quietest we experienced during our trip through Mexico. All family members are incredibly kind and welcoming — we felt at home from the very first minute. During our stay, we were even offered juice, fresh vegetables, and lemons. Needless to say, we ended up staying much longer than originally planned.

“Amazing stay with a lovely family!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Coral! The owners are absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. There’s a great kitchen and the room had everything we needed. We can really recommend staying here! The only thing to note is the distance to the lagoon, but taxis are widely available or you can rent bicycles.

Loved our stay here. The compex is beautiful and well kept. Everything seems new and clean. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home! It's out of town but a short walk to the ADO bus terminal and also an area on the lagoon where you can swim and do a great boat trip.

Friendly owner. He offered us limes and salt to complete our tequila ritual. Clean and cozy.

Everything is very efficient, very nice owners. You can book a trip on the Bacalar lagoon, which lasted 5 hours. I highly recommend it.

Super friendly owners who helped with everything! They even drove us to the bus terminal. The house is at the edge of town, but with bicycles available everything is within reach.

It was the cleanest place on earth! Bathroom smelled like flowers when I entered! Extremely nice and smiling people who will make you feel welcomed and at home. Also very save for solo female traveller, good lock in the door and even in window. I slept there like a baby, dark, quiet and comfy bed. I loved the decor of this place. I would go back gladly! They had very good Internet too! And coffe maker in the room absolutely awesome, to start making coffee first thing in the morning without having to go in the community kitchen

The owners are so sweet, Antonia brought me fruit and gave me a lift. The room is clean and has everything you need!

An incredibly charming family welcomed us, and we immediately took them to heart... and I believe they did the same with us. Even though we speak only a few words of Spanish and they don't speak English, we got along well. Whenever we needed help or had questions, they were immediately ready and incredibly hospitable. Here, you live together and get to see what the "local life" is like. There's a communal kitchen for guests, a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and even a water refill station. The rooms are simple and functional. Another plus is that in the morning, you can hear a wonderful concert of birds upon waking up; the jungle is right next door. Simply marvelous, we felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime.

Large room, warm and helpful host, comfortable beds. It is overall a pleasant stay.

“A great place to stay, highly recommended”

It’s a beautiful property and Carlos and his family are lovely, and very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, with a comfortable bed, a nice bathroom, good A/C and good wifi. The shared kitchen is well stocked and drinking water is provided.

A simple but pleasant and relaxing place run by a welcoming and friendly family. We stayed in the large upstairs room with its own terrace area. Excelkent WiFi, and air-con.The communal kitchen was well-equipped and functional. Overall, a laid back, low key place which we enjoyed. All the usual Bacalar activities are within walking distance (or by the ever-present taxis).

the style, cleanliness, outside/sitting area and perfectly equipped kitchen. The owners are sweet people, they even gave us a lift at 3am to the bus stop, much appreciated!

The hotel was excellent. The facilities were great (kitchen and courtyard were lovely). The staff were really firendly ans helpful. I would have liked to have given a higher rating but see below..
