Everything was perfect. We had the best stay! The employees are especially amazing and the owner as well! Lluvia took care of everything for us, she is the best! There was also a very nice employee working at the breakfast restaurant, not sure what his name is but he was working on most days we were there. 100% recommend!

“A fantastic experience with a genuine luxury feel!”

Blue Palm Bacalar is centrally located approx. 1 km from the main bus station. There are several nice restaurants and small shops close by. There is a 24h reception desk that welcomed us when we arrived. Reception staff was very attentive and supportive assisting us with tour planning and booking. Free bikes are also available for guests. The service throughout is excellent. We booked a double room with a balcony. The room was modern, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The big king-size bed has a comfortable mattress for a good night sleep. There is a good quality AC and a ceiling fan. The wardrobe is well-sized, enough space for two suite cases to be unpacked. The large bathroom features a big rain shower, toilet, and wash basin. A hairdryer was provided. The attentive personnel provides daily housekeeping, keeping everything spotlessly clean. The beautiful and well-maintained garden centered around a spacious deep swimming pool creates a wonderfully calm atmosphere — perfect for relaxation. The location in general is super quiet, and mornings are filled with bird song. Breakfast is freshly prepared in a quiet and calm setting, with a choice of warm dishes that are both filling and healthy. There are several vegetarian options available. The restaurant offers dinner that we can whole-heartedly recommend. Overall, a fantastic experience with a genuine luxury feel. We enjoyed it very much and strongly recommend this place for a stay in Bacalar!

“Amazing hotel in a great location, walking distance to amenities and restaurants.”

The property was a great location that was slightly out of the centre that gave it a spacious feel. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive - presented us with an information sheet of recommendations and replied via WhatsApp instantly. The breakfast was really great, they give you so much and it’s very well made. The room was very comfortable and the pool area was a really relaxing space, very peaceful. We only stayed 3 nights and I wish we had stayed longer!

Stayed here and couldn't fault a thing. The hotel's spotless, staff went above and beyond to be helpful, seriously, couldn't have been kinder. Prime location, super central with restaurants everywhere and the lake just a quick walk away. Felt chill and comfy the whole time. Highly recommend!

“A very enjoyable stay”

A good location, not far from a number of bars and restaurants and about 10 minutes walk from the main square. Very good, plentiful breakfast. The staff were all very professional and friendly. Immaculately kept pool and garden area. On-site restaurant was also good.

Stunning property, beds were so comfortable and lots of space in the room! Oscar the owner was so friendly and approachable. It was central and bikes were available to get around bacalar!

“A Peaceful Oasis with Some Maintenance Issues”

The hotel feels like an oasis of peace and the overall service is good. Breakfast is enjoyable and has potential, even if it could still improve a little; for example, on the first morning they didn’t have milk to prepare the cappuccino that was actually on the menu. The room is pleasant and comfortable enough to relax in.

We really loved our stay! The location is excellent – very central yet peaceful, making it a lovely little oasis right in the heart of Bacalar. The pool area is beautiful, and everything feels very relaxing and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the entire property is charming and well-kept, and the hotel team was extremely friendly and full of great recommendations for the area. Our room was cozy and came with a lovely veranda including a hammock, which we enjoyed a lot. neighborhood – but hey, that’s Mexico. Bacalar is beautiful!

Great staff who are very helpful. Lovely garden with great pool. Very well designed and clean. And I love the hammocks in the pool! Breakfast is sumptuous and very good, as is the on-site restaurant!

Everything was great from the very beginning – first impression was perfect! The hotel was beautiful and cozy, I couldn’t stop taking pictures. It’s a very peaceful and comfortable place to relax. Juan, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave us great tips on what to do and where to go around Bacalar. Also, a big thank you to Jared, the waiter – super friendly and attentive. Another big plus: the bikes were included for free, which made exploring the area even easier. The village of Bacalar itself is a charming, typical Mexican town. We felt very, very good there and would definitely come back!

“A beautiful haven”

A lovely property with the kindest staff. We’d recently got engaged and they did a lovely decoration for our room. They were so helpful and even gave us a packed lunch for when we had to check out early to catch a bus. The pool area is really relaxing and it’s great walking distance to the restaurants and bars of Bacalar.

It is an incredibly awesome place. Spotlessly clean, a unique setting, a wonderful breakfast and other food. Especially the pool area and the hammocks make it a very tranquil place in the center of Bacalar.
