“Tranquility in Bacalar”

It is located on top of a Cenote and you can go freely and swim. They also give you kayaks for free. They are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed our stay

The Location and the direct access to the lagoon were great. The bungalows are very cute. You can rent kayaks for free.

We stayed here as a couple and had an absolutely wonderful time. The place is beautiful, and the lagoon right in front of the hotel is simply breathtaking. A special thank you goes to Manuel at the reception – he was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. He organized a jet ski experience for us and made sure we had everything we needed in our room whenever something was missing. His service really made a difference and made our stay even more enjoyable. We truly loved our time here and would definitely come back again!

The location and the people. You are right at the waterfront of the lagoon. A beautiful dock is just there to jump in the clear waters first thing in the morning or whenever you want! You have free kayaks which is nice. There were no bikes, so be aware that you need a taxi to get to town (or rent a bike, or scooter, like we did!) it’s a great place to stay when you come to Bacalar!

Manoel was our man every morning and he was wonderful and always helpful. The location is right in front of the lagoon, in the emerald cenote, amazing views, and any time swim in the amazing lagoon, coffee pods refreshed every morning, free kayaks to explore the water, good air con, fairly close to the bacalar town but still need a car or face a good 30/40 min walk into town) and lovely staff.

“Simple accommodation in a stunning location”

The location was great - on the edge of the lake and only a short, cheap taxi ride away from the centre of Bacalar. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our cabin was fairly basic, but it was spacious and clean, with a particularly good shower. The lakeside view was just a short walk from the cabin and it was stunning.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable, but it got very cold at night with no real way to warm it up besides an extra blanket. Private lake access is great, but boats constantly stop right by the pier to see a nearby landmark, which gets noisy and annoying. Our bungalow was also right next to the road, so traffic noise was an issue. The staff didn’t speak English but were kind and tried their best to help. It’s far from town, so you’ll need a taxi or bike, and there’s no food or drinks on-site or nearby.

Great lagoon front location. Nice cabanas. Free bicycles and kayaks. Friendly staff. Great place for swimming, clean because it's next to the cenotes.

The staff were great. The view was amazing and straight down to the water. The free pod coffee and water each morning was great.

Lovely property right on the lagoon itself. They provided free kayaks for 2 hours which was a lovely touch. Very friendly and amenable staff.

“Amazing”

Absolutely lovely stay! We had 4 nights here. Our room had laguna view and it was stunning. The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was clean. The place is relaxed and quiet.
