Location right on the water, but that's about it. The grounds could be really beautiful, but there's no lamdscape maintenance at all.

“Prefect stay with amazing sunrise”

It was so nice to stay there. It was quiet, the sunrises on the dock were phenomenal, Horacio is super friendly and helpful, he gave us good tips and recommendations. The room was spacious, cleans and tha bathroom had a very good shower. We also had breakfast there, which was very good too. Als good that they have a secure parking. We also loved to relax in the hammocks outside the room and in the dock.

Really nice location with own access to the lake. The owner is a cool guy, and Boris the dog kept our daughters busy. A lovely place to stay for a family, with the city 15 mins walk away.

“incredible and magical experience”

Away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to go for dinner in one of the many delicious restaurants in Bacalar. Horacio and his lovely team Rosa and Martín looked after us and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The apartments are extremely clean , had amazing shower pressure/ hot water and feels incredibly safe. Waking up with a view of the water every morning and having a coffee looking out was a magical experience. We took the kayaks out and explored the cenote next door and had dinner one night when it rained opposite in the locally run seafood restaurant which was delicious. We’d love to visit again!

“Fantastic hotel!”

I can’t fault our stay here at all! This hotel is fantastically located - within a walk to the town but also secluded enough to feel quiet and peaceful. The pier is lovely and you can book boat tours to pick you up from the pier through the hotel. The hotel has a wonderful family feel and you are extremely welcome. The staff are absolutely excellent and are so welcoming and easy going, nothing is ever too much trouble. Having a communal area with tea and coffee and self catering facilities was great. There is a lovely breakfast you can pay for at the property and there is free use of kayaks. There is a restaurant across the road from the hotel which had the best food we ate during our trip. I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Bacalar :)

“Small and cozy hotel right on the lagoon”

The location right on the lagoon is, of course, fantastic. The hotel is in a league of its own here. You have a great view from the balcony and can go swimming or kayaking right away.

“Lagoon Paradise from a superb hotel”

Bacalar lagoon is incredible. My favourite place in Quintana Roo so far. We were in the triple room with lake view. The apartment was comfy and had everything we needed. The communal terrace and jetty are well maintained and looks stunning and are fabulous to sunbathe on or enter the lagoon from. Horatio is a super host along with the staff and the breakfast menu is tasty and reasonable A/C works well. . Cool drinking water on tap and use of hot drink facilities. Amigos Hotelito is very security conscious. The colours of the lagoon will not disappoint. Incredible.

Everything. It was quirky and so unusual. The food was good. Shower and bedroom good. Nice staff. On site massage was good value. We came back and had lunch on two further days!

Great location, best hotel of our 2 weeks in Mexico, really good

What an exceptional experience we had at this small hotel. The team were so welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely with an amazing view of the lagoon and the breakfasts were delicious. We particularly enjoyed using the hotel's kayaks and relaxing on the loungers at the dock. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely lakeside accommodation, hammocks, free kayaks and the ability to make your own coffee and organise your own food a bonus.

Superb location on the lake. Quiet and peaceful spot to really unwind. Horacio was a great host and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast that was available. Free kayaks to use. Unfortunately we only had a reservation for one night as fully booked for the rest of our stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Fab seafood restaurant a short walk away. Bit of a walk into town but definitely doable.

Perfect location in a beautiful place. Great facilities. We loved our stay. Getting up in the morning for kayaking in the sunrise was amazing.
