“Great stay at the lagoon!”
We enjoyed our stay at AMACA Bacalar this Christmas. The location was perfect, and amenities provided too (loved the cooler). The site was very peaceful. We enjoyed resting on our terrace and admiring the views. The free kayaks were a great touch too. The staff was very friendly and attentive; and the gentle, affectionate cats welcoming us made our stay even greater (cat owners and lovers ourselves). I'd love to return and pay them a visit. Would recommend a min of 3 nights stay to fully enjoy the lagoon and surroundings.

The location was lovely, very peaceful and in nature with direct access to the lagoon. I think this place is a great find if you're looking for a little escape in Bacalar! The access road wasn't as bad as we expected, any car could manage it without issue. The room was a good size and the balcony was lovely to relax in the morning.

“Amazing!!!”
The location is amazing. The cottages are beautiful! Also, there are kayaks and a sup that you can use, free of charge. Great service!! Also, there is coffee and water in the room. And a shared kitchen + living room which was a comfortable place for us to cook. We really enjoyed our time here, just outside of the center of Bacalar (5 min taxi ride). Would definitely recommend!

“Amazing jungle experience very relaxing”
Fantastic night in the jungle. Very good communication via WhatsApp from the host. Wi-Fi worked, eco friendly 100%, big rooms, beautiful view of the lagoon. Felt like an authentic jungle experience.

The king size bed, the wrap around balconies, the size of the room, the shower, amenities. The easy communication with Blanca, the administration and the closeness with nature.

“The perfect place to just relax and enjoy nature”
This place is simple heaven! We stayed 2 nights and it was that amazing that I could have just lived there forever. You are immerse in nature, the bungalow is nicely decorated and equipped. It really respects the environment. We had a nice view on the lagoon, drinking coffee from the small terrace listening to nature was a dream. They have their private access to the lagoon with free kayaks and paddles. It was amazing to go for tours in the morning so relaxing. I wish to come back one day!!!

- The views are beautiful - Far away from the road and the noise of the village so great place to disconnect - They provide kayaks and a paddle board that you can take on the water whenever you want. The views for sunrise and sunset are amazing - The staff was very nice
