I stayed at Sabai Bay Resort with two college friends for five nights. As students, we were not expecting luxury, but we did expect basic standards of cleanliness, customer service, and professionalism. During our stay, we requested on three separate occasions that our room be cleaned, including having the floors swept and the bedsheets changed. Each time, staff assured us this would be done, but it never happened. Our room bins were also never emptied throughout our stay, despite our requests for housekeeping. As a result, ants began appearing in our room, creating an unhygienic and uncomfortable environment. We also had to repeatedly ask for essentials such as clean towels and toilet paper. While the resort offers facilities such as a swimming pool and gym, several advertised amenities were not fully functional. The sauna was out of service, and some gym equipment was broken. Additionally, there were numerous cats around the property, including entering guest rooms. The most disappointing part of our stay occurred on the day of departure. We requested a taxi to take us to the ferry port and were assured that everything was arranged. While we were at reception collecting our deposit, staff suddenly presented our bedsheets and claimed they were stained due to insect spray. We explained that the marks were from bug spray and would come out with cleaning. Despite having repeatedly requested fresh sheets throughout our stay, the bedding had never been changed. With our ferry due to depart in 15 minutes and the port approximately 10 minutes away, staff continued to delay us over the issue. In an effort to resolve the matter, my friend and I personally scrubbed the marks from the sheets, and they came out as we had stated. Despite this, we were still charged for the alleged staining. The delays became even more stressful when we discovered that three of our suitcases had not been brought out as requested.

Pool, gym and the staff were the best.

The room look fairly modern and clean. Toilet and shower are nice, best that I have been to in a while. The chalet itself is also very nice. Nice king size bed.

Epic pool and beachfront location. Comfortable bed (not great pillows but hey it's Thailand and nowhere has nice pillows) Most insane gym with all sorts of equipment. Staff were SO friendly, especially J at the beach bar

Comfortable beds and right on the beach. Good amenities, attractive and comfortable beach furniture and bar, gym pool etc. Beach cleaning daily. All the staff were polite.

Staff were shouting at members of our group as we were checking in .rooms were shocking with no tv,s or safes , t-cofee kettle .a man was intercepted trying to break in our room .basic basic basic .The approach road to the hotel was a bumpy dirt track

Resort and staff all good, food at the resort was lovely, room was a little small and basic, but comfortable. The resort runs seamlessly onto the beach, it's lovely, you can sit all night watching the sea, locals wading in the shallow water catching cockles... and the lights of Koh Samui in the distance, tranquil, with soft music playing

The personnel was exceptional and helpful. We had many problems with the room but hotel staff was fast and eager to help.

Quiet resort right on the beach with beach bar that offers things like avo toast and protein smoothies. They have fully stacked gym and loads of cats & dogs running around. Our villa apartment was nice and confortable, seemed better than bungalows.

We stayed in a double room with seaview and was super nice. The pool is amazing and there are many sunbeds around the resort.

The beach bar and pool area was lovely, great to watch a sunset, have a swim and be able to order food and cocktails right at the beach. The staff are friendly. The rooms were spacious.
