Located by the private Ban Kai Beach, Morning Star Resort is 3 km from the Black Moon Party site. Its bungalows offer a flat-screen TV. An outdoor pool is available. Resort Morning Star is located in Baan Tai, 4 km from Haad Rin, site of the Full Moon Party. The Half Moon Festival site is 800 metres from the resort. Morning Star’s rooms are made with natural materials. They offer balconies overlooking the pool and come equipped with minibars. Some offer tea/coffee makers. Safety deposit boxes are also provided. Guests can relax with a massage or laze on the sun loungers while enjoying a tropical cocktail from the pool bar. A souvenir shop is located in the hotel. Bicycle rental services are available for those wishing to explore the surroundings. The restaurant at Morning Star Resort serves barbequed food, as well as Thai and Western cuisine. The beach bar offers a variety of drinks on its menu.

“An amazing stay at Morning Star”
We had an amazing stay at Morning Star Resort. The location is beautiful — right in front of the beach, with a clean and crystal-clear swimming pool and an incredible beach just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. They helped us understand all the activities available in the area, arranged pickup services for us, assisted us in booking a full-day boat trip, and shared a lot of interesting information about the island, the local culture, and the people. Their kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. Everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the service, the cleanliness, and the location. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again.

Lovely bungalow on the beach. Staff very happy and chatty. Room clean and tidy. Lovely pool. Beach is nice but you need shoes to go in the sea as very stoney.

“Unhappy with our stay”
I stayed here on the 22nd of March upon arrival everything looked nice unpacked and went for food upon return back we had 4 geckos in the room which wasn’t a big deal a minor inconvenience but there was also Ants on the bed as it was late there was nobody at reception to help so we were left to our own devices. We decided to leave and upon saying this to the man on reception early the next morning he offered us no insight into how this could be rectified and no resolution. As well as this he refused any refund as we had payed in cash even though we checked out at 9:30 am so had been in the hotel less than 15 hours and had paid for 3 nights. We did not expect a full refund but any help would have been greatly appreciated and we did not get this. If I was you staying here I would ask to see the room before paying you might just change your mind

“Great Place”
The property was clean and quiet. The air conditioning units ran quietly and the beach was fabulous, white sand and a breeze. Sunsets were glorious. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was good.

“Beautiful resort on a stunning beach”
Beautiful location on a white sand beach…….absolutely stunning 🤩The room was excellent, staff worked very hard and were incredibly friendly and helpful. Beautiful garden and pool. Will definitely return to this hotel Walking distance to the pier to get to Ko Samui We like this area as it was busy enough but not horribly busy and we could walk to shops and restaurants as we can’t drive scooters.

Great hotel, right on the beach. Staff were lovely. Bed was comfortable. We had cats come to our room every night which was lovely. The staff that run it was great.

“Great hotel and beach front room”
Amazing hotel. Staff very friendly and the swimming pool was clean. Room on the beach was great and the bathroom needs a little work to it but I could see they were doing some bungalows up. Would stay here again
