This is a scam. No matress completely dirty, a nightmare and they use the name of another bussiness.

The experience of staying in a bamboo hut, so comfort, best 2 nights sleep

Very minimal, but great for a low budget and a tropical experience. The bungalow is in the size of the dubble bad and a little big more space to put the bags, so there is no place to be there outside of the bad. This could mlbe good or bad, depends on what you are looking for. For me it was a special experience, but less comfortable then a proper room. But has it a low budget, if you don't want to spand too much it is a good option. The bungalow itself is very pretty and designed well.

The bungalow looks beautiful and so cute! Everything is made of bamboo! There is a big comfy 2 person matress on the floor with big fluffy red towels on them and a large soap. The mosquito net is very large and is tucked in around the mattress so no mosquitos can get in. You get 2 cold bottles of water on arrival and the staff are super kind and patient and answer all your questions. The fan on the wall works great, it is very strong with 3 settings (not sure why a review here says otherwise?) and it is not noisier than any other fan. I wasn't too hot at all as a result. There is a big shelf behind the mattress for storing your luggage. And to keep mosquitos away they light incense to put under the bungalow on a bottle which works great. I had no issues with mosquitos at all. There is a table and 2 chairs in front of the bungalow and it is a very spacious lot with lots of grass and palm trees. You have the staff house, then 2 bungalows about 5 meters apart, then the bar 10 meters ahead and behind that the 2 bathrooms. The shower is cold but works fine and there is a sink with a mirror outside it. The toilet is a normal toilet with a bucket flush. The bathrooms look older but they work just fine. They are very clean, just not modern. Outside the bathrooms is a mini golf course to use and you can hang out at the bar and have drinks if you like. There is a 7-eleven 5 minutes walking down the road and across it you can rent a scooter. Coming from the docks to the bungalows is about a 5 minute taxi ride which should cost you +-100 baht. The staff again were so nice during my visit and told me all about the current political and economic situation in Thailand and the nice spots to visit on the island, the best parties to go, and played mini golf with me while some bossa nova played on the background from the bar. The owner had a big career as a magician in Asia and has great stories and tricks!

The area was messy and dirty. It smelled catpee in the reception and it was cathair everywhere. The bungalows are really small. I was very disappointed and chose to leave. I would not recommend to another female solo traveler.

It was cosy but very difficult to move around in the bungalow since there was basically only space for the bed inside. The mosquito net was very useful but made it even more difficult to move around. The host was very helpful and nice, which made the stay better

“Excellent stay at Bamboo Bungalow Baan Tai Phangan”

The host were welcoming and very nice, we were really glad to stay in the Bamboo Bungalow. The Location was perfect as we were not far from the Pier and also from the Full moon party! There is a lot of motorbike renting shops and restaurants not far from the accomodation. I recommand it ! Don't forget the mosquitos spray !

“Best place ive stayed in thailand due to the owners!”

I dont normally right reviews , but i felt i had too regarding the owners. This place is ran by a man and his wife and they are both absolutely amazing. by far some of the nicest and most hospitable people we have met in thailand so far (and thats really saying something, given how nice the thai are). My friend and i ended up spending several evenings playing a game throwing balls (cant remember the name of it) with the owner playing againist him and his friend and its one of our most memorable momennts of the trip getting to hang out with locals playing a traditional game. If you want a real thai experience, this is the place.
