It was raining when I visited but the staff were super friendly and helpful. I went outside with a very big umbrella to film the rain and then the hotel guy came to pick me up with a buggy, because he didn’t want me to get caught in the rain but I ended up making him taking me deeper to the forest to keep filming the rain. 10 points for the staff!!!

“comfortable stay on local island”

most welcoming arrival! attentive and friendly hosts. Delicious Maledivian breakfast, they even went to the market when we asked for some extra chillies. We enjoyed our room (upstairs) a lot. The bikini beach at the south of the island was also beautiful, with shade, hammoks and a bit different scenery to other islands.

The hosts and staff went out of their way to make my stay a pleasure. They organised brilliant excursions and fit them into our schedules and preferences. The food was great and the accommodation was really good value for money. I’d gladly stay at Island Zephyr again soon.

“Amazing and true Maldivian stay”

We really had a great time at Island Zephyr. We appreciated the activities organized by the Maldivian owners. We had the opportunity to do amazing snorkeling trips (mantha & house reef), fishing at the sunset, hunting crabs. They also took us around the island and showed us the most noticeable things. Moreover, we could learn something about maldivian culture. The room was clean and nice, with a spacious shower. The food was always great and cheap. The staff was helpful and friendly.

A beautiful accommodation in Guidhoo, really lovely staff and spacious. It’s not big but felt quite private, didn’t see anyone around. Really enjoyed my stay. Staff was friendly and showed the area around. Highly recommended.

“Very good hotel with great food.”

Location in the center of the island, 10 minutes from the marina. 2 km to the "Bikini" beach - a pleasant walk through the bush. We were offered a ride, but we didn't take it. The hotel organizes trips, but we did not take advantage of their offer. Upon arrival we were greeted with flowers and there was a floral sign on the bed saying "Welcome" The food was great. A chef from Siri Lanka prepares delicacies. For breakfast, you can choose from waffles, pancakes or a Maldivian-style breakfast - tuna salad "Roshix Tuna Salad", pancakes and a small omelette with vegetables. We remember the fish we caught (the rest was with us, because they took it fishing at our request) to this day.

Amazing stay in a beauiful island and very nice guesthouse. Room was big with spacious bathroom. The patio and common area are very comfortable and great for relax and meet other guests. The food is great! Fresh and very tasty! The owners are very kind and helpful, they do everything to make sure your stay is great! The staff of the guesthouse are very lovely, kind and respectful people! We totally love them! The bikini beach is really beautiful, located at the end of the jungle, so you can ride a bike, which are available for guests, or have a lift from the guesthouse anytime. Jungle is amazing too! The guesthouse offers wide variety of trips, so you can choose from the list and have fun at the ocean or go to another island with super nice and responsible local guide. Island is very safe and locals are very friendly!

It was a true local experience and I felt part of the family. The whole experience was just the best: the island tour, fishing nights, snorkeling and cooking dinner together. Idhy the host is very friendly and always does his best to help the guest.

absolutely lovely owners, very gentle and kind, try do do everything for our pleasant stay. we appreciated that owner show us the island when we arrived and made snorkeling with us for free! free bicycles, they even gave us our own motorbike completely free of charge. good WIFI. The dinners are delicious, you can choose from the menu, there are also 3 types of breakfast to choose from. general impression of our stay is good!

Very good food, especially for everyone who wants so taste the local dishes. The guesthouse organizes trips to a private island or snorceling tours.

“Perfect place to stay and an exceptional owner”

The owner is utterly charming, full of laughter and very considerate. His wife was also very nice and ensured we got booked onto the speed boat. The beds were decorated with bougainvillea and bathroom was a good standard and new. Nice sheets and towels. They have a fantastic Sri Lankan chef so food was great. We had amazing excursions with the owner who took every trouble to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

Extremely kind and helpful owners, beautiful rooms, good homemade cuisine, amazing trips from the guesthouse and great atmosphere inside the hotel. everything was perfect

“Perfect”

Everything! The guesthouse was amazing, beautiful gardens and common areas and the room and bathroom were lovely. Very clean and well decorated. But the best thing were the hosts. They welcomed us in like family - what amazing people! They were so warm and lovely and helpful; organising all of our activities, joining us for mealtimes, taking us around the island. We will 100% return!
