Overview
Built by the sea, the Faros Resort boasts a private natural bay and an excellent view over the Aegean. Highlights include the elegant pool with sun terrace and bar. The whitewashed rooms combine Cycladic style with modern aesthetics. Each is air conditioned and comes with a flat-screen TV and a large bathroom with tub, hairdryer and toiletries. The private balcony offers view over the sea, the garden or pool. Breakfast can be enjoyed at the Faros Resort's breakfast hall, or in the privacy of your room. Drinks can be enjoyed at the elegant poolside. Situated 3.5 km from Ermoupolis, Faros Resort is only 350 metres from the well-known Azolimnos sandy beach with its taverns and cafes. Free shuttle service to Azolimnos is provided. The 24-hour front desk offers babysitting services and can arrange for car rental. Free access to the internet is provided in communal areas, and free parking is available on site.

“Beware of the comments posted on line. They do not give an accurate description of the resort.”
The breakfast was described as sensational however we found it be very ordinary and repetitive. A simple coffee machine was on offer and everything else was charged. The serving platters and dishes were tired and there there we no trays on offer to facilitate the collection of dishes and glasses.

“Peaceful and beautiful”
9/10. Peaceful place, beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Amazing pool and stunning views. Staff was super friendly. We loved having a jacuzzi in our suite! Breakfast was good.

Friendly owners, great breakfast, nice location. Fine pool and sun beds. Quiet due to off-season traveling. Taxi to Ermopouli city centre 10 euro’s. Nice little town with lots of bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Syros, a great place to stay!

“A real lighthouse, thank you Faros, you will see us again!”
We stayed for 10 days. Large variety for breakfast. Amazing. This place is unpretentious and perfect. We relaxed so well and had our peace. Staff was always helpful but not intrusive. Room cleaned daily. Lovely location. Just all and all the best 10 days in Greece ever!

Lovely staying ❤️ Amazingly beautiful area, everything is so clean , tight and so relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet around so you can stay at pool any time of the day and read book in calmness and no one disturb you… Location is super ! Stuff is so helpful and friendly. Nikos with George was taking care about breakfast ( by the way the breakfast was very good, dishes change every day , everything fresh , hot , delicious, and soooo many variations of the food, I loved it) . George escorted me to the room and explained basic things and some organising moment and rules. Nikos was so kind and was taking me by car down to the beach ( kind of transfer , just because I was lazy to walk 7 minutes by foot 🤪😁) Sofia was taking care about reception and my booking . I had super good experience with it. All was smooth and easy. She was helping me with check in and check out . Thank you guys for so warm welcoming and good care during my stay 😇🩵

“Gorgeous resort with pool and small private beach”
We loved our stay at Faros Resort. The pool area overlooking the sea is amazing. You can swim in the pool and look out at the sea. There are lots of comfortable sunbeds to lounge on. The staff were lovely and really helpful. It is a family run business which helped make us feel comfortable and looked after. The private beach although very small was a really peaceful place to sit. The room had great aircon which was very much appreciated on hot days. The whole place was very relaxing and a short walk to a great beach, great restaurants and bars and a shop. I would recommend staying at Faros Resort and Syros is an amazing island with great food, culture and beaches.

It was very quiet and we felt like we had our privacy. There are great views in the area. You could tell that the place is a family business and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. They helped getting us taxis to town and replaced our shower head that was broken
