The location is very convenient & is central. There are stylish cafes close by (Kopi Luwak & Antigo) with affordable, tasty meals for breakfast & lunch. There are several salons closeby including Sudamericana (recommended!). The owner is knowledgeable & helpful. The rooms are super clean & stylish. Of course, the artwork (of Che) inside is very unique & beyond incredible. You cannot find such a place very often (if ever?) with such ambiance, cleanliness, & convenience of location.

Like many others traveling to Azogues, we went for some visa related business. Hotel El Che is a quirky little gem, with very comfortable beds and soft linens, impeccably clean, quiet enough for it's central location. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We particularly appreciated the little touches like bedside table lights, hooks in the right places, extra pillows that are often omitted even in the luxury type of hotels.
