We arrived very early by bus and we were able to check in a few hours earlier which was greatly appreciated. Good sized room and quiet.

“Spacious and calm”

I booked a bed in a 4-bed dormitory but I was staying alone in my room :)) Nice staff, welcomed me in the middle of the night

“Great but far from historical tourist zone”

Acceptable value per money. The solo room is well furnished, with clean bathrooms although fair small to be honest but very convenient. The breakfast was nice too, with coffee, juoce and nice typical Ayacucho bread 😋. The service staff are also kind and friendly, always eager to help you.

We had to check in earlier, because we arrived with the nightbus, and this was no problem at all. The host are very nice and helped us with a few tips for Ayacucho. The can't speak English but that was no problem at all with Google translate. The bathroom is great, especially for people who are a bit taller. Powerful shower.

“Beyond Exceptional”

20 minutes walk from the airport and 15 minutes from the historic centre. The property is secure, exceptionally clean and guests are well received by the owner and staff. I was able to check-in early and a towel and soap was provided. The WiFi worked well and the shower water was hot. The room contained a place to hang clothes along with the necessary hangars. The included breakfast consisted of tea or decaf coffee, bread, jam, fresh papaya juice and avocado or cheese. Everything was exceptional for the price paid. Would recommend 110%

“Great place to stay”

We liked the location as it showed us more of Ayacucho than if we were staying in the centre. Our room was spacious, bed comfortable, shower hot. The whole hotel is very clean and the staff was lovely and helpful during our entire (twice extended stay). The roof terrace is perfect for chilling, we spent numerous hours there. The shared kitchen is basic, but enough. The included breakfast is OK. We really enjoyed staying in San Cristobal.

“Sweetest Host!”

The lady who runs this hostel was amazing. She let us check in early since our bus arrived in the morning. She was really helpful and made us a breakfast which we did not expect. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower had hot water too. The location was quite nice since it was surrounded by a lot of little markets and restaurants. There is also a kitchen upstairs that you can use with quite a good view of the city. I definitely recommend staying here if you're in Ayacucho.

Big space and comfortable beds

We really enjoyed our stay in Hostal Don Cristobal! Location is good and we liked the area. a lot of shops and restaurants. Room was big and clean. We loved the roof - chilling area and kitchen with great view. It’s perfect for people planning long stay in Ayacucho or working remotely.

I paid more then what I had on the booking, I explained to them , showed them as well, they just didn't care

“Disapointing”

Room super small, not clean and noisy 24h/24h

We got one big room for 5 people with bathroom, towels and paper toilet. Comfortable beds. Great terrace with amazing view. Staff in reception was really nice but communication with owner was difficult.
