The studios are located in the lovely seaside town of Avlemonas. Our host accommodated our early arrival and allowed us to extend our departure time for a couple more hours due to a later flight. She also gave us lots of useful information about the island. The property has everything you need with cooking facilities if you require and is situated just a few yards from the sea. We visited in mid-September and there was a choice of 4 or 5 restaurants for dinner. Parking facilities are excellent - you will need a hire car to get around the island! Kythera is a beautiful island and, having explored most of it, we can say Avlemonas is the most charming seaside village to stay in. Kanellis studios is a great place to stay and use as a base to explore the island.

Everything was perfect. First of all the location, in Avlemonas, the pearl of Kythira island. Only a small road to cross and you can dive in the beautiful natural pool facing the town. The apartment is also very nice and well thought, with windows and balconies on all sides, so that you can always have some breeze coming in. Everything you need is already inside, and in case you need something else just ask the owner, an extremely nice and helpful lady who will do its best to solve any problem.

Kanellis Studios is perfect for couples, or a solo traveller like me. Cosy and comfortable with a compact kitchenette and lovely bathroom. It is right across the road from the beautiful rock pool swimming area Avlemonas is famous for, but set back enough for quiet and privacy.There is a mini mart nearby and just outside my window was Limanaki. It was the BEST chilled out eating pace ( the grilled octopus and steamed greens were perfect) and all of the staff were really friendly. ( special shout out the gorgeous Eva who helped me when I lost phone )

We had a wonderful stay here. Andriana was warm and friendly and was already waiting for us to give us the keys. The accommodation was clean, tastefully decorated, functional and the location couldn't be better. Right across the road from the beautiful Avlemonas swim spot. Truly, a magical stay. I long to return already.

We loved our stay at Kanellis studio. The apartment had sea views, was wonderfully clean. Aircon worked well and the king size bed was wonderful. The host was super friendly and provided great service. Location was central and walking distance to great Tavernas and the beautiful swimming spot.

Perfect location, 1 minute walk to a choice of swimming spots. Clean and spacious apartment that was very quiet. Staff were always helpful and available. There is a mini market next door and tavernas close by.

The property was very charming and provided a beautiful view of Avlemonas beach. All facilities were very clean, and Andriana (the host) was very helpful in getting us settled in. Andriana personally also went above and beyond in helping me to ship a forgotten item back to me free of charge.

We had lovely time in this part of Island. Avlemonas is small and Beauty Town. The Host is super and she cares about you all the time. Hope to be there soone!!! If you think of getting there with kids, its the place, everything is close from Kanellis!! 🌅❤️🌅
