Overlooking the Monte Baldo Mountain, Rifugio Monte Baldo features a panoramic garden and terrace. Guests can enjoy their meals at the restaurant. “Refugio Monte Baldo Winter Stay”
We had an amazing time at Rifugio Monte Baldo. We wanted to hike to the rifugio from Avio, but Ryanair lost our bags, and we had to change our plans. The host was very accommodating. He helped us organize a taxi and recommended local walks based on the weather conditions. We had a delicious five-course supper for €22, along with their house wine. We would love to stay at Rifugio Monte Baldo in summertime!

“Superb”
Location is perfect, specially for those who is search for hiking or motorcycling. Dinner was very good, and breakfast ok, could be a bit bigger, but this is cultural difference I believe.

I can't praise this place enough, I just loved it and wish I could find more the same. It's family run by people who really care about what they are trying to create - welcoming, comfortable, peaceful, remote. And the dinners are simply wonderful - and don't leave a hole in your pocket, amazing value. I wish I had stayed longer.

“Basic rooms yet a fantastic location and staff!”
The winding roads leading to property from Garda and Verona — an hour of a pure driving pleasure. Breathtaking views from a property. Fantastic and welcoming staff doing that “extra mile” to make sure you feel welcome anytime. Would totally come back.

“Speciale”
The hotel is super simple, very comfortable and meticulously clean. The food is all locally made and it was really delicious. It was like eating the food from my nona (Italian granny) again. The location is stunning - I’ve stopped several times on the road for taking pictures. I was there in very high hot summer and the temperatures were great, specially at night. Very fresh and pleasant for sleeping. I was traveling with my doggie and they did all to accommodate us and make sure we were comfortable. For sure I will go back and recommend this place to everybody who visits Lago di Garda.
