Set in between the shores of Avigliana’s Lake Grande and Lake Piccolo, Caprice offers a selection of rooms with free WiFi, 30 km from Turin. “A good standard hotel by the lake in Avigliana”
I stayed one night in January 2026 as a journey breaker, so Avigliana was about the half way mark (for my journey). The hotel was easy to find and is situated close to the lake about 2km from the town of Avigliana. The host, Luca, was very friendly and helpful, told me the heating would be coming on very quickly and did not need to play with any controls in the room. The single room was a very fine size - single bed was comfy, the bathroom toilet was a good size plus there was a chair and desk-top to use computer etc., and TV. Breakfast was all OK and the choice was fair. I walked to the centre that evening for dinner and it only took about 15mins, but there are places to eat that are nearer by the lake-side.

Fabulous staff, very welcoming and helpful, The room itself was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the lake Good breakfast and the dining room is eclectically decorated with lots of bar related memorabilia. Thank you Luca, we really enjoyed our visit!

“WE HAD TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY AFTER 5 MINUTES BECAUSE OF INSECT ATTACK! WE NEED A REFUND + DAMAGES AS WE DIDNOT STAY THER”
We had to leave the room and the hotel immediately because we were ATTACKED BY MANY WEIRD INSECTS THE MOMENT WE OPENED THE WINDOW. We killed some of them, but they kept coming from inside the bottom hole of the door. The owner didn’t at all, he was RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! He REFUSED to refund us and SHOUTED at us! We are now taking this matter to TWITTER.

“Perfect to stop, to walk and rest”
We were very pleased to found this hotel. Very convenient and very comfortable to stop for the night to rest on a long trip. Big surprise – it was very very clean and cozy. Many thanks to the Owner of the hotel for the hospitality and attention. The place, lakes are very beautiful!!!
