We had a personal greeting from the host and a small hamper of goodies and a bottle of local wine which was lovely. The apartment had full mosquito nets and shading on windows which helped keep it cool and the balcony excellent space and views of the hills. Great access for visiting Avezzano and the heart shaped lake.
