“Very good stay with a prime ski location, great food, and beautiful SPA, the rooms are outdated”

We had an overall very good stay. The location is unbeatable for skiers, as it’s extremely close to the slopes and the gondola. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We also loved the beautiful SPA area and the common rooms, which are very well-designed and cozy. The food was another highlight—consistently very good and of high quality.

“Great scapade for families”

Great place with access to a ski resort, súper family friendly. Indoor pool, sauna. There were also walking trails and sledge route. The food was amazing and the service excellent

It was our fourth stay and we like it more and more. The extended bar area is stunning and welcoming to sit down and have a drink. All staff is very polite and helpful. Food was even better then years before.

Except for the central heating which was not stable, more cold than warm everything was good!

Breakfast is open buffet and it is very rich. Dinner has an open buffet for the starters then have the fix menu. The food is delicious. Hotel location is super, just next to the slope. The spa is lovely, actually two different spa center, one for 16+ and one for all ages. Staff is super kind and helpful.

Excellent hotel! We spend a week for skiing, it was the best ski vacation ever. The ski lift is near by, 50 m from the hotel with direct acces from the slope. The spa area is very beautiful with an area for everyone with one inside and one outside pool comunicating each other, a baby pool and a jacuzzi, with sauna and hammam. Another area is adult reserved with 2 saunas, jacuzzi pool, kneipp pools and relaxing areas. Tea and water are offered by the hotel with oranges and apples. The appartement is huge with 2 rooms, terrace and a bathroom. Dinner is rafined, delicious and for all tastes. Alpine menu, italian menu and light menu are proposed every evening, but you can choose between dishes. Light lunch is complementary and very good- actually a vegetarian salad bar. Good wines- local and national are proposed for an extra cost. The bar is excellent with great music. Everybody is very kind, I felt like a princess all day long. The manager is very kind, always there and all the hotel crew is top, from the ladies in housekeeping, to the spa experts, reception staff, waiters and bartenders. So, thank you very much for this excellent week, we enjoyed it every single moment!

Excellent facilities, very helpful and friendly staff, great food

The resort is well kept, spacious, clean. The sauna and pool area are fantastic. The staff are helpful and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant; they are also incredibly patient with children.

“Winter Wonderland”

The stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the forest spa was excellent, food was great, the room was large, the view from the terrace was wonderful. The ski area right next to the hotel, ski in - ski out and also the ski storage room is excellent. First of all, I would like to say thank you to all the staff at the hotel. I spent beautiful days here. The hotel has a very practical location, only a few meters from the funivia that allows you to start your ski journey suddenly. The variety and quality of the food are excellent in all services, including breakfast and dinner. The stay here as a family is perfect, with different opportunities for kids and their family, such as the swimming pool and other activities for the little ones. Thank you, José

“Wonderful 4-night stay”

We truly enjoyed staying at Josef Mountain Resort hotel. Staff was wonderful, and helpful with all our inquiries. Food was lovely, and we particularly enjoyed the dinner where three different menus were offered every evening. Light lunch was also offered with pasta, salads and desserts. The hotel is right next to the lift to Merano 2000, which was super convenient, and there are also several hiking trails in the vicinity of the hotel. We travelled with our daughter, and young lady at hotel's Kids Club was great, our daughter happily played there a couple of times per day. There is a nice paddle pool for smaller kids, as well as several additional bigger pools. The Forest Spa area at 4th floor was also lovely with a nice relaxation area and an outside heated pool. We will for sure come again.
