The staff were super accommodating and actively wanted to help us at every step. Don't worry about the other reviews for the language barrier - the host had sufficiently large dictionary to explain to us where/when to go and other logistics. Large rooms and tall ceiling.

“Cosy and homely stay”
Ipekyolu Garden offers cosy and cute rooms more in the style of a homestay than a hotel. The view from here is lovely, especially, I imagine, if you're lucky enough to witness the hot air balloons flying (we weren't). The owner, Emin, responded to my many questions before our trip. He helped arrange a cab for local sightseeing and suggested options for vegetarian food in the area, which is a rarity. But the Avanos market square is a 5-minute drive from the hotel where one can find shops and hotels. We ended up having a tasty vegetarian pizza from Guzzii Pizzeria and a meal at an Indian restaurant close to the Goreme Open Air Museum on his suggestion. The stay comes with a complementary full Turkish breakfast which was sumptuous. In-house arrangements for food and refreshments at all times of the day would be a welcome addition to a lovely hotel. Emin also helps with the hot air balloon trip, but the balloons didn't fly when we there. Overall, a good choice.

“Super nice stay. Do not doubt and book it.”
The room is very nice and comfortable. Our room 207 has a bath tub. Unvaliable. The room has a good heater. Nice garden with fireplace. The owners ara very kindly. Our flight was delayed and he wait for us until 1.00 am. The breakfast was really good and tasty. If someday we come back to capadoccia we will come back here. 100% recommamdable. 15 min from Goreme. 1 minut from Avanos old Town.

Very kind, responsive and at the same time unobtrusive hosts. They got up early to prepare breakfast for our early departure. Hearty breakfasts. I liked the family house with thick walls, not hot in summer. Amazing view of Avanos and hot air balloons from the restaurant and common area. Beautifully landscaped garden and BBQ area. It was possible through the host to book a hot air balloon flight at a good price.

The property is in a quiet neighbourhood just outside the center (10-15min walking). There is a supermarkt down the street (it does not sell alcohol, fyi). The rooms are really spacious and beds are very comfortable. Shower heads look small but they have great water pressure. Breakfast is served upstairs against a beautiful view of the hills. We were told it is also possible to watch the baloons but we were never awake that early. There is a communal garden with seats and tables where all guests can hang out in. Our hosts were super attentive and helpful.

We stayed in family suite with comfy beds. Good parking place is just next to entrance door. The basic breakfast is provided and lasts up to 11 o`clock. If you want to see major attractions of Cappadocia, including balloons, you still have to go to Goreme or Urgup. The host is friendly and provides many information you might need.
