“Best place to stay to see the sites in Cappadocia”

Atax Cave House is beautiful, spotlessly clean, full of character, and offers amazing sunrise views of the balloons. PLUS, their breakfast is nothing short of amazing. Hands down the best we experienced in three weeks in Turkiye. Alli, the owner is an excellent resource for arranging tours, transfers, etc. Don't stay in Goreme!!! Cavusin, where Atax Cave House is located, is the best choice for accommodation. Goreme is overpriced, loud and touristy, while Cavusin is a quiet gem. Bear in mind that no matter where you stay you will need transport to get to any of the sites/trails.

“Perfect place for Balloon watching”

If you're in Cappadocia for the balloons, then Cavusin and Atax Cave is where you should be! We were chasing balloons in Goreme and it's day & night compared. The balloons flew by so close to Atax roof terrace that you could see the faces of the people in the balloon basket. Goreme is a good place for the food scene and vibe. Cavusin is unbeatable for balloon viewing and proximity to the major attractions- Rose valley, Love valley, Cavusin castle. Atax cave house is really worth the money. Thoughfully furnished and the owner Ali can tell you it's history, as it was his generational home. Ali is the best of hosts- always available and helpful. Another huge plus point- the breakfast is amazing- variety of turkish food, with a lot of it cooked by them and greens from their garden. Absolutely happy to recommend Atax cave house.

“Great base to see the balloons from!”

Ali literally could not have done more for us during our stay. From organising our arrival and departure transfers, to ensuring we got breakfasts around our activities, ordering taxis and recommending restaurants, he was on top of everything. The breakfast is huge, varied, so fresh and so tasty. The view from the rooftop is excellent at all hours of the day and the rooms are really nicely decorated, with a cosy vibe for the cold nights.

Fantastic hospitality and a wonderful breakfast with so much variety. The roof terrace had a stunning view - perfect for seeing the balloons. The whole family loved our time here

We liked the host, the puppy, beautiful view from the terrace and relaxing atmosphere. The Rose valley is nearby for hiking. Overall it was a wonderful vacation. Recommend this place as quiet, cozy and super friendly.

Incredible hosts, we felt at home during our stay at Atax cave house, breakfast was good. Hotel location was amazing and close to all the attractions. If you are after activities like balloon riding, etc , the hotel owner can help you book all the different activities at competitive prices. Room and hotel was very clean.

Really enjoyed the time in Goreme. The hotel is really nice and the owner is a good person,always available. Highly recommend!

Best place to enjoy cappadicia. Staff was kind and helpful and u can enjoy balloon view on the rooftop. And the breakfast was always good.

“A magical stay in the best location to see the balloons.”

This is an amazing hotel, a little way away from the bustling and overcrowded Goreme, and giving peaceful nights. However, not too far away, and this is THE place to watch the morning hot air balloon flights from. It does not get any better than this for location. The rooms were incredible, and made me feel like a king. The cave room with the jacuzzi in was absolutely stunning, and both my wife and myself enjoyed every minute of being here. Ali is incredibly helpful, even sorting out our balloon ride for us, and telling us the best days to go. He has great recommendations for evening meals and knows everything there is to know regarding the surrounding areas and activities.

Nice and cosy room. Great outdoor seating areas. Beautiful place to catch the hot air balloons. Love the location of the hotel. Just outside Goreme, right beside Cavusin cave.

We even couldn’t imagine how close to the cave city we were. The hotel is very comfortable, clean and authentic. The host was the best host ever. He was waiting for us and was always ready to make our stay as good as possible. As I told Ali, the owner, this was one of the remarkable stay in my life although I travel a lot.

Very nice and cozy hotel for family! Breakfast was awesome and there is an open terrace where you can relax and chill in the afternoon and watch hot air balloon in the morning! The owner was really nice and is very helpful in every possible way! He spoke both english and french fluently! He made arrangement for our horse ride, car rental and airport transfer to kayseri airport when we left the hotel! We arrived at 9hr by bus and were able to do an early check in! Avanos and Goreme was 6minutes by car and taxi is readily available!(will cost around 235 TL per trip)! There is the old village in the nearby mountain with and awesome view during sunset!

Beautiful and comfortable house with a wonderful terrace. The owner was super friendly and very willing to help us with anything. Our stay was amazing and the included breakfast was the best I've ever had in a long time.

Ali was very accommodating of our requests, they had great laundry service, he gave excellent recommendations of places to go and see, his English was superb and the breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were incredibly well presented and comfortable. The roof top terrace was incredible, the sunrise watching the balloons was magical. Excellent value for money.

Wonderful hospitality. Located at the centre of Cappadocia. Wonderful experience. The hospitality of Mr Atak was awesome. It was a complete homely experience. Herra his pet is also a must mention. Also the activities suggested by MrAtak left no experience missing.Overall a memorable and mesmerizing experience.
