Overview
Originally opened in 1896 and located in Avalon town centre, this diver-friendly hotel offers bicycles for hire and a tour desk. Avalon’s boat landing is 10 minutes’ walk away. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and absolutely loved everything. Thank you so much for the excellent service at the reception — the staff were very kind and welcoming. The room we stayed in was clean and cozy. We will definitely come back again!

“Loved the location of the Hermosa hotel!”
We liked the vibe of the hotel. It was not luxurious at all but we were not looking for it. Clean place - that was the main focus. Closeness to the race start for us was also the one of the most important factors. Some great places to eat were very close, like 50 steps away, including coffee and breakfast. Would stay there again.

Staff was as helpful and kind as possible. There was a "cooking" counter and small fridge. We were greatly inspired to get out and explore around the island because it was so awful being in the room.
