Beautifully decorated and the location facing the lake is magnificent. If we knew it’s that beautiful we would have planed to stay longer than one night.! Host very helpful and friendly.

Very friendly host with the cutest dog. Peaceful and quiet property with a lovely garden, fully functioning kitchen with a possibility to make a barbecue outside. We appreciated the attention to detail and little surprises in the room (such as selection of teas, supplies for art, books). Walking distance to both the river (5 min) and all town attractions (15-25 min). A wonderful stay for anyone who wants to escape the city and relax.

Beautiful, serene and quiet accommodation on the Lake. With everything you need when traveling. Nice to be able to be independent.

Friendly host advised activities, breakfast supplies, coffee pods. Henri even offered to put our bikes under cover himself in the pouring rain

“Oasis of peace in Auvers sur Oise”

The hostess was very friendly and the room was quaint and comfortable. Itbis very quiet with a lovely view of the lake. You can hear the frogs croak and the birds simg in this oasis in the middle of Auvers sur Oise. Close enough to the Van Gogh highlights too. Highly recommended

This is Paradise. Was beautiful place to wake up..... Amazing!!! Location little bit walking from train station ..but you can ask to pick up you from station. Comfortable bed. All atmosphere is unforgettable.. Thanks

Henry is a kind person, the place is wonderful and it's like living in a fairytale. We love all the things here: the lake, the calm, the garden, the swans and the ducks, the room and all the details like the books, the lights... I mean, all.

“Nice calm stay in Auvers-sur-Oise”

Location nearby the lake in a small quiet town was great. After we arrived, in the evening we had a walk by the river towards the cemetery of Vincent/Theo tomb. Unaware about the way, we just headed by the lake and through the little door to the small path. There was a little boy running from the house, shouting "Bon jour, bon jour!!!" And we had a little chat with him. :-) We had a wonderful dinner at 'Le Relais des Peintres'. Little pricy but worth the money. Nearby Pontoise was a starting location for our train/metro trip into Paris. A covered garage on the railway station was easy to reach and 40 minutes ride to Paris Nord was pleasant enough.

I highly recommend this property for a long-term vacation. We didn't get to enjoy the full beauty of the area, so we would happily go back again. I would like to note that the accommodation is very clean, warm, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is decorated very stylishly with elements of vintage items. The garden and the surrounding area fascinates and soothes. The owner of the property was kind and helped us with everything we needed. Great experience!

“A beautiful peaceful setting - a hidden gem.”

Idyllic, peaceful oasis, right at the heart of Van Gogh's final days and resting place. The Studio had all we could wish for including the basics for breakfast, this was much appreciated- Thank you. Henri and Camille were most helpful and kept us informed of entry/buses etc -you have a lovely home. We waited 3 years (booked 3years ago ,but cancelled due to Covid) it did not disappoint. Thank you and all the best.
